Rohr and Agu put us into this messy situation but I thought Peseiro would have done the needful.

He does not have any option than to throw it open and see if he can salvages the situation. It is very easy to know a good keeper but our technical staff are making it so difficult.

Uzoho
Okoye
Adeleye
Nwabili
2 home keepers.
.

I sincerely do not blatantly blame jpajero for this mess that he puts Nigeria into but rather the unserious and blemish people occupying the glass house

Look at what John Ogu said, it has confirmed our assertions of the people in the glass house as d clog in the wheel of football progress in our dear country.

Pls can this happen in NPFL,Mamelodi Sundown leading the table comfortably with having 4 outstanding matches to play, watching Chippa vs Arrows today got me annoyed with NFF for very poor sponsorship and quality TV rights.

the table may seem ridiculous but they can replicate the same in the npfl. They are very good. they recently won the African football league beating wydad fc back in November

Rohr tried to some extent regarding the goalkeeping department.. At least he didn't stick to one goalie for long.. After Ikeme was forced to retire, he turned to Akpeyi... Akpeyi started to misbehave and Ezenwa became first choice.. then Uzoho and later Maduka..
Peseiro has stuck with Uzoho since he came in, with the exception of some minutes given to Maduka and Adeleye
Rohr using four keepers didn’t help us.He failed to find lasting solution to the problem and getting Uzoho a division three and Okoye a regional league into eagles complicated the situation.

Ejuke with a well rounded stats against Cercle Brugge.

I love it when wingers are involved in defensive actions, defensive actions like making clearances of the ball.

We currently do not have wingers that reduce the burden of defending on their fullbacks just the way Ejuke does it.

During the last AFCON tourney, in the match against G. Bissau Ejuke posted defensive stats that I did not see from any winger that started ahead of him.

It is funny when some think that Ejuke is only a dribbling sensation.

Enyimba of old was better than today Manelodi Sundowns, winning CAF champions league back to back didn’t have such record.

Leading the table with 5 point separating Sundowns from second place and still have 4 outstanding matches to play….it can’t happen in NPFL

He definitely needs to do more

back then the league was strong but I believe that currently, if you transfer mamelodi sundowns to the npfl, they will repeat this feat. We have always been complaining about the quality of the league. Apart from sunshine stars that reached the semi finals of the champions league many years ago, when last has a Nigerian club performed even moderately in the continent. We struggle to qualify for the CAF champions league group stage and even if we qualify we rarely make it to the quarter final stage. The quality of football in the npfl is too low that the only way mamelodi sundowns won't be able to recreate something like this is bad officiating.

The officiating in present day NFF has improved and with results have seen so far in SA league showed not much difference cuz they too rely on home games.

Yes you are right the quality then was a bit high than what we have now but notwithstanding I don’t see Mamelodi achieving such results here with 4 games to play.

Am just so happy that Osimhen didn't go to the club that seems lately to be wrecking careers and putting exceptional players to shame. Imagine, one of the GOATs was disgraced out of the club, look at one the finest young English prospect in the Bundesliga at some point disgraced, a multiple champions league midfielder now no more relevant, or do we talk about the fine young talent from Crystal Palace so full of promise, hmmm, how about the Camerounian goalie now turned into bottomless basket? Na wa o!!!!
Osimhen, God really loves you.

Serie A teams tend to have good defensive organization.

I think it is more appropriate to rate Chukwueze on his overall game impact ..than just goals scored... Raphael Leao kind of impact.

I also think another problem with the Nigerian league that people hardly pay attention to is fatigue occasioned by teams having to travel long distances on our bad roads to play away matches.... Imagine if shooting stars is to play Doma United, they will have to travel almost 20hrs ( that's assuming a smooth journey) by road to the match venue, and arrive a few hours to the match! That's a huge advantage for the home team already! So the best the away team can hope for is a draw.
One of the reasons why away wins are scarce in the league asides poor officiating

Hence it becomes difficult for a team to dominate the table with several points, regardless of quality

Can't the NPFL partner with nigeria military. The military using some youth corpers can maintain security in the stadia during matches and also be the referees.

The military or police can serve that role

You're very right.

If the NPFL can't get some flight coys into sponsoring the league.

The league should be regionalised like in the US.

Or better still clubs travelling beyond 6 hours should be have them go by flight.

Arsenal, Chelsea or Newcastle (that's if Ishak leaves) is the best for him in England.

what if he’s better than what we have in the NPFL? The GK position isn’t a striker position where you can chop and change as you like, Nwabili has 3 highest save percentage, joint 3rd for clean sheet in a league that’s is by all metric absolutely clear of our own league so putting his call up down to agent work is very very unfair, unless he has a good reason to say that sha
I don't think that anyone is saying that he shouldn't be called up. Rather others who are killing it in NPFL should also be given the same platform to vie for that position. Then the best should be picked. Rather the coaching crew keeps shutting others out from even showcasing their talent.

I remember then in Ilorin stadium we have group of Airfore and police officers during matches but guessed what they are more of supporters than security officers.

1997 NPFL league match Kwara utd vs Lobi star was abandoned and fans dealt with referee Dogo Yabilsu, the policemen on duty don’t really care.Kwara utd a league leader was banished to Calabar and lost all its matches with the aid of referee, relegated to division two.

What we are having now is relatively good and peaceful atmosphere cuz if a club messes anyhow heavy fines would be imposed.

Thank you, level playing ground for our keepers cuz nothing special about what we have abroad…..I knew Stanley Nwabili right from Enyimba to Lobi Star and I want say a good ball playing keeper.I watched him yesterday live and was not really tested throughout but he was calmed and well composed, his ball distribution with legs and hands top notch but am still saying we have Osayi Kingdom and Christian Nwoke who I see as new Enyeama if given the chances.

That's Chukwueze's situation presently.
Consistency is a big issue.. Milan may not be so patient with him.

His play style requires a high level of confidence to really impact a game. A run of poor games doesn't help matters...I hope he can find his mojo before the pressure starts mounting.
