I don't know about others but I do know that MMIA has. I was surprised myself when I landed in September and there was free WIFI. It was slow though but it served the purpose I needed it for. |

Lagos Airport actually has free wifi. I discovered it while waiting for a local flight at the waiting lounge. I think the name is FAAN or something... |

I am surprised by comments here, as it seems to come from individuals who have not left their village. While I cannot speak for all airports in Nigeria, I can share my personal experience at the Lagos old international airport. Yesterday, I was able to use the FAAN Wifi to update some of my apps and browse the internet for a while. I have also used the FAAN Wifi in front of the new Lagos international airport on multiple occasions. Although it can be slow at times, it has served its purpose whenever I needed to connect to the wifi. I remember advising a friend who was coming from abroad to stay in front of the new international airport and connect to the wifi so he could communicate with me on WhatsApp upon arrival. He followed my instructions and was able to contact me when he landed. Additionally, I have used free wifi at both MM1 and MM2, the local airports in Lagos. Therefore, it is incorrect to say that all Nigerian airports do not have free wifi. 5 Likes

immortalcrown: The Lagos airport has free Wi-Fi, but it's strange because one can’t use it to make WhatsApp calls. As per the airport trolley carts, all the airports I have visited in the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia all charge at least $1 to use the carts, unless you are lucky to find an unused one in the open area. |

Ajalalomo:I haven't travelled much. But Entebe airport in Uganda, Kigali airport in Rwanda and Jomo Kenyatta airport in Kenya that I have used repeatedly did not charge me for trolley. My brother and my friend who have respectively visited more than 10 countries within and outside Africa said Lagos airport is the only one that has charged them money for trolley. |

jrusky: I guess you haven’t travelled out of the country before ? All international airport has free Wi-Fi’s , this year alone I have used Abuja int airport 5 times and it never failed me . The reason why international airport has WiFi is for travelers to be able to communicate with whoever is receiving them from the airport through whatsapp call or messages as you will not have network connectivity when you enter the a new country |

I travelled on the 31st October to Canada and while at the airport waiting for my flight to Casablanca with Air Maroc; so we left as early as 5am; we got to the airport by 12 midnight so while at the airport my data finished and I decided to check if the internet was working; I browsed until we left. In Casablanca while waiting for the connecting flight which we missed eventually due to my poor French; we only had few data usage, which got exhausted and we almost couldn’t rescheduled our flight or communicate with family to help |
