I never said it does did I?
The Ogba people know and declare their origins
This is public knowledge
But Iboes are all over Wikipedia trying to rewrite history
Why?
Origin is irrelevant. Every Igbo groups have different claims to their origin. Same with Yoruba groups. Did Ijebu not claim to come from Borno?

what is relevant tell what makes a group Igbo? What makes a group is what they say they are
If they say they are Igbo they are

You are weak and defensive that is why you are jumping to Hausa
We are discussing Ogba people

They do not speak Igbo
They speak Ogba a distinct Igboid language
The Ogba language like other Igboid languages are not dialects of Igbo

The language family is called Igboid because Igbo has the most speakers.
It does not mean they are Igbo derivatives or that Your Igbo language is older.
So why did you call it "igboid" language if it's distinct? Does ijebu speak the same thing with Oyo?

I did not calll

It so
That term is based on academic research
There is research by a person called kay Williamson
before you were born

It is in books which means it is secret and hidden from ignorant and illiterate folk like you who cannot read anything bigger than a phone screen

Her Igbo language dictionary is well known

The whole of ONELGA is Ogbaru and should have been in Imo and Anambra states, but they were carved into Rivers state in 1967 owing to ethnic politics of oil and gas! Though it should also be pointed out that since the uncivil war, the Ogba now say they're not Igbo and come from Benin! Goodluck to them!

Ibos and land grabbing.
Ibos and inferiority complex.

IIbos like claiming South South land because of their resource, since Ibo land is cursed and barren
