What would be your reaction to a lady you intend to date telling you she has fibroid?. Am wondering what level of nerves she must have in the first place, or if she's just too careless in disposing such an unpleasant health issue. Or Could she have known my intention and was trying to scare me off?

Do you even know what fibroid is in the first place? It's not meant to be scary.

Fibroid is not a death sentence. No big deal about it. I doubt if you have adequate knowledge of it or just naturally obtuse.

An healthy woman is a problem . let alone a woman with a medical condition.

At least she's honest about it. A lot of them don't reveal that they have fibroids until they get married. One of my bro married one like that, the lady had so many huge fibroids that even the gynecologist doing the ultrasound was just lamenting "fibroid everywhere!" My bro was never the same after that day, because even though the doctor was unprofessional to be lamenting like that, it scared him to death. Right there and then, he thought he will never be a father. They had been trying to conceive for several months before finally deciding to see a doctor and that's when he found out. The lady said she didn't know she had fibroids, but I find it hard to believe considering that she was in her late 20s at the time. Had she never seen a doctor before marriage? Hard to believe. Anyway, after 4 years of trying, she finally had a surgery to remove the fibroids and they've had 2 kids afterwards.

Fibroid is a common thing amongst Nigerians and Black women around the world, but a lady should still disclose it to her serious boyfriend. It's not fair to trick a man into marrying you only to find out that you have football sized fibroid in your womb. If a man knows he's impotent but doesn't disclose it to his wife, she wouldn't be happy to find out after marriage either.

Exactly my story I just got married. I wife got pregnant and we now noticed fabroid. She was aware she never told me.. now the fabroid is a treat to her pregnancy

Stay strong bro. It's a good thing that she was able to conceive because sometimes the fibroid blocks the cervix or lodge in very delicate parts of the uterine lining that makes it difficult to conceive. Now that she's pregnant, she needs to be followed very closely by her gynecologist who will perform frequent ultrasounds to monitor the fibroid and the fetus, sometimes the fibroid can increase in size during pregnancy. Stay positive, don't blame her too much either. I hope everything works out well for you.

thanks for your encouragement. The problem she has most is just pain at the abdominal region. Am trying my best as a man and also work gynecologist

Telling you could mean she sees a future with you and want u to b aware Or just confiding in u. If u intend to marry, let her family take care of it first and not u. Women forget who makes sacrifice for them.
