With the news of the catholic pope suddenly endorsing same sex marriage in church, my question is
has God updated the bible or the commandments?

If it was wrong yesterday how is it right today?

The word "CHURCH" is the problem today but then instead of assuming that any building on which the name "CHURCH" is written is for the Bible God why not compare their beliefs to what Jesus taught?
According to the Bible after Jesus established his group and left Satan planted his agents right in their midst like yeast {Matthew 13:25} you already know what yeast does to food and so within a short time what Jesus taught gradually got lost that's why he asked:

"When the son of man returns, will he still meet this teachings" Luke 18:8

Of course Jesus returned some 2000 years later and just as he foretold his group has disappeared as Satan's agents have hijacked everything so he called his people out from the midst of Satan's agents {Revelations 18:4} and the true God began calling them by another group name today! Isaiah 65:15

We don't even have the original Bible today as it has been updated over the centuries. In another few hundred years from now the updated bible will say god changed his mind to allow such.

If men change the Word of God, doesn't that mean that Jesus Christ lied when He declared that His Word was everlasting? undecided

Or have you really think why is there standard and revised standard version...do you know the meaning of revised...some verses that was removed in the bible. Was it Jesus that removed it.
The early Bible (both old testament and new testament) was comprises of 80 chaptersand 14 chapters was removed from it and hidden by Romans and the remaining 66 is the one you are carrying up and down... So just cool your head do a good research
All this
Tobit, Judith, bell and dragons chapters removed from bible did you anything about it.
