Air Peace has come to the rescue of many stranded Nigerians abroad irrespective of tribal and religious affiliation, this propaganda and falsehood can't work against it.

Chaii Nigerians and their entitlement mentality. That’s how air flight works in every other country. Prices are determined by the forces of demand, 200 people going to Anambra can never pay same amount with 22 people going to Kaduna. Even at that, the first 10 -20 people to buy ticket on a flight to Anambra might pay significantly less than the last 20 -30 people going to Anambra on that same flight. That’s how it is done everywhere. But Nigerians won’t agree, they’ll insult and fight you in their sheer ignorance.

Remember, before this period, buying even the last seat didn't cost N250K.

This is the evil of capitalism, all they do is take advantage of everything and skyrocket prices and later begin to quote the laws of demand and supply, these people are greedy bastards and they would never change, democracy needs to be jettisoned in Nigeria and we need an autocratic system like the Chinese people party system of government, Nigeria needs a hard reset.

Onyema is a big fool for putting up this warp comeback defense, because I'm highly disappointed at him. There's no justification to hike up in threefolds when the other prevalent price determining factors have not varied. Higher demand than supply can never be enough to trigger such humongous hike by over 300% . It's just pure greed! You want to make the whole money you didn't make since January to November just in a couple of weeks. I blame the government for lack of price regulatory agencies in the country. Imagine this big fool with a lame defence.

Be making noise in that your poverty stricken room, if they ask you to manage one small pure water business now you will start speaking in tongues like Bola Tinubu.

Just continue making noise, na your house you dey.

Why attacking Air peace? How about road transport? Everyone knows that in a period like this, transportation fare get increased, just a simple economics of Demand and supply. If you can't afford air travel, you can make use of road; better still, you can board a trailer.

They should modify the system so that there is a price cap.Or are they saying that during periods of low demand, the price of tickets can also fall without limit?

You see these Igbo people, Dem be dia own biggest problem. To send goods to to portharcourt is 60% cheaper than sending to Onitsha which is much closer to the South West. Anything going to the East is more than x2. To think the owner of the airline is Igbo is to understand their mentality. Ibadan to Lagos by air is 6k and it's the cheapest air fare in Africa.

The problem for me is the way they worded their statement.

I think it was bad in my own opinion.

True that transport fare generally increases but again how you defend the increase as a business could make or break your case.

As a business of that calibre.. they need to be more diplomatic in their public responses.

Can one say they didn't make sense even though it's the person that failed to understand what they're saying?
Is it stupid if it's based verifiable facts and reasons?
Since high ONE-WAY TRAFFIC means there will be many EMPTY SEATS on the return flight, is it senseless for them to charge more on the going flights to cover the empty return seats?

An international flight I have been monitoring since August used to be about $1,800. Now its priced at over $6000.

Try to understand how these things work before crying or better still setup an airline and crash the prices. It's a free market
