My Sleepless Night Nuggets on Emeka Ike and Ex wife saga..

Marriage is not easy... If you have tried your best and it didnt work, and you now live apart...the years you spent together are sacred and should be respected, No matter the circumstances that led to the separation. That is maturity.

The information you were privy to on account of been married and sharing intimacy would ordinarily never have been made known to you. Stop weponising what you got to know on absolute trust and confidence. When you betray those trust, whether in or out of marriage, the world knows who is foolish!

Stop coming to social media or going to the public (friends) to justify how you were a perfect partner...the world has so much problem to deal with, it doesn't really care.

Social media doesn't have any solutions to solving marital issues... those who you want to appear perfect before thier sight are also enduring alot.

Every marriage is a work in progress. The people you always admire are those who have perfected the act of projecting the best of their situation. If they share their challenges with you, you will raise an alter of Thanksgiving to God.

Even amongst the seemingly perfect couple, marriage requires WORK, PATIENCE, UNDERSTANDING, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, COMMUNICATION, COMPASSION AND TRUST.

With all I have listed above, the energy is not always 50/50, even with your utmost commitment, some times, it appears you are giving 80%, at other times 20%. Things get frosty when the energy is low on both sides, and you must honestly recognize it. Rather than blame your partner, step up your energy.

For those who are happily married, congratulations and keep your marriage out of social media.

Some questions we all should ask ourselves sincerely is:

1. How do you now percieve Emeka and his Ex-wife after the whole revelations?

2. Even if you feel sympathy for one of them, how does that help them?

3. Does it feel like anyone of them won the argument and to what end?

4. Do you think the kids will benefit from this outburst ?

5. Did the information serve any useful purpose for the listeners other than satisfy their quest for "infortainment", another fantastic coinage for 'amebo'?

Marriage is to be endured and enjoyed...there are no easy marriages..

Good thoughts. Social media is filled with emotions running up and down . No one truly knows the details of their marriage days. Trying to gain sympathy or feel exonerated is what is dragging estranged couple to social media especially the women. If the marriage has packed Biko move on and let each start his/ her life afresh.
