Akeredolu passes on.
May his Soul Rest in Peace.
All the struggles has ended
The powers
The influences
The certificates, Degrees & Titles
The much cherrished skin will now becomes termites food.
The luxury cars and mansions is of no use any more to the dead.
All the swags and protocols of office has ended.
All the security details and guards have abandon H.E to die and none would ever want to follow him to the after life.
What lesson are we learning from here?
It could be me or you tomorrow.
Do you realised you will die one day and you will also leave all those things you value so much behind
I believed if those people who love the goodies of political office so much had allowed the man to stay back in Germany and follow through his treatment, maybe, just maybe this death wouldn't have happen now. But because they love power so much and as such, they must drag a sick man back home just because of their parochial selfish interest and now they have lost all.
Let us live as though we know we will die one day.
Rest on Sir.

True talk!
Most Nigerians Leaders and Politicians ( Past and Present), stealing our Money, with a Very Few Exceptions, have no good thoughts of what tomorrow is holding for them!
They always ends in history books, with nothing to write good about them.
β€’ The Whitemen are remembered for Life- e g the Apple Inventors in America will be remembered for life, for a Company ,contributing $ Trillions Dollars in Stock Exchanges Market!
Some, their Contributions to Education Research Programs, etc.
Here in Nigeria, they Steal the Money and drop it back to the Whiteman's shores of Dubai, USA and Europe -for second enslavement!
Very Shameful Indeed!

All is truly a vanity, Akeredolu was a great man of peace, he loves his people (Yorubas) so much and Nigeria in extension. Our great in-law (he married our sis). May God grant him eternal peace and comfort his family to bear this great lost.

Reminds me of Alexander The Third (Also known as the great): he died at 33 years old and still remembered almost 2400 years later.

That's quite young. Galusha Pennypacker was 20 years old general to lead an army during the American Civil War. He was even too young to vote for the president that nominated him.

He is still remembered in America until this day.

Braaaa! How do you know the dead even prefer death
I no go fit argue that one with you ooh! 😎

I was once terribly sick. I suffered until one day I lost consciousness. Suddenly I saw myself in a beautiful land. It was peaceful, happy and full of love but Just before I could start to explore the land I heard my brothers voice calling me from a distance. I suddenly was sucked back into my body. My guy, I was ANGRY. I asked him why he called me back? He said he got scared that I fainted lol and my reply to him was "and so??" Is that why you brought me back? I didn't forgive him for years. But now having kids and setting positive goals in my community has nade me have a desire to live again grin grin
Many people that experience NDE say they were happy to be in the afterlife. They express regrets for coming back to life. Tho no one knows if there was a phase after the NDE that is true death.

Do u know why people even grieve when their loved ones die?

The grieving isnt about the dead, as he/she has transited and shifted to a diff realm, the grieve is for those he left behind as they would miss him and will never get to see him again

Again, death isnt a negative occurence, the dead even prefer death as that is the only time they experience eternal peace in their nothingness
How do you know what the dead prefer, you and I have not died before, so we can not know. And if we want to assume when people die, they transit into a state of nothingness, does that not mean that the dead have no capacity to have feelings?

Greatzeus:

You guys always forget one thing when a very rich person dies? All his connections and wealth and riches did not die, they have passed to his children, and definitely children's children.
Your kids and akeredolu's grandchildren can never go to the same school, they can never be on the same pedestal of life. They won't have to walk on the street looking for job or sending thousands of CVs online.
Nobody goes with his wealth when he dies, yes we know. But a person who leaves wealth,I mean weighty wealth's to his children and grandchildren has solved 90% of their lives struggles and problems.
Don't deceive yourself, money of a man can never be underestimated, alive or dead. Money answers all things lady, and that is the Word of God.

Bro, I'm not against wealth or any body being rich. But, what I'm saying is that, this life doesn't truly worth the struggles.
As to whether his children will never go to the job market has nothing to do with the post. Besides, the true essence of life isn't all about strives and competition.
Money answereth all things , but with exception to buying good health and by extension life.
Take life as simple as you finds it, and above all, have Jesus Christ.
Stay bless and let us live as though we know tomorrow might be our last day.

It is basically what grieving is about. It is about the dead. Do not confuse yourself.

More and more people are selling their big edifices of their homes to smaller houses, some even rented apartments, the older you get the more you just want the basic necessities life offer you, how our politicians reason and keep amassing the masses wealth is beyond me, they are pure demons and at the end not only will they pay the price but their children and generations to come. Same way we remember the Abacha family.

Very apt! There are times you start to wonder the whole essence of life. When my husband started our house, a five bedroom duplex, we got to interior work, the man just said, babe, you know what ?, all these duplexes were not worth it. That in a few years time, only me and him will be left in this big house, if i will still even be in Nigeria, as I have been disturbing him that I also wants to move to US as a nurse. By that time, the kids would have all gone their respective ways, even to different countries as they were not even born in Nigeria. Na so we started remodeling the house into four flats. The demarcation is still on going. Most of our excess furnitures were put up for sale and we disposed lots of items and ploughed back the proceeds into the house demarcation. Both of us are becoming more minimalist in nature. The smaller things are, the more aesthetically appealing they become.

Irrespective of What you have or you dont have,
Irrespective of whether you are rich or poor,
Ensure you Have Needful!

The needful is a Genuie relationship with JESUS CHRIST.
Ensure you are Born -again.

This is the only thing that has Eternal value. Every other thing is irrelevant.

N.aked we came here! N.aked we go.

The governor is gone to ETERNITY.
Over there, no one cares about his title, portfolio or whatever.
What will decide his fate, is if he surrendered to the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

If he made peace with JESUS CHRIST before his death, he is right now in Heaven.
If he departed without JESUS CHRIST, it is straight to Hell!

THE HELL YOU CREATED, STOP SPREADING NONSENSE AND INSULTING GOD. CAN YOU PUT A HUMAN IN HELL

Exactly,I'm happy for you and your husband realizing this early, enough time to enjoy your union and create memorable moments. Life is not complicated we just carry unnecessary pressure on ourselves for nothing at the end.

I’ve always maintained that terrible sickness is the opposite of life and not death. Death is a relieving state, where all the troubles of this world don’t bother you.
