🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️

As I saw this your post, I hurriedly ran to my kitchen to check the soy sauce I have with me. Na Amoy'c I buy o!

I have five "Amoys" soy, dark, and chilli sauce in my house like this. Na God go save us; to think we bought this stuff from a credible/popular mall in Lagos - Justrite stores - is even more worrisome.

Quality control is almost non-existent.

Ogbeni keep quiet! Fake products are sold by unscrupulous members of every tribe in Nigeria. The one I posted above was purchased from a Yoruba lady in Mile 12. I didn't drag her tribe into it and I doubt she even knows that what she is selling is fake.

Who manufactured it is the question?
The retailer may be one ignorant person that just sell what she sees. The supply chain is controlled by same people we all know. The same people that import fake electronics and spare parts to the country

These ungodly children of Shuku-Shuku Alabama from the East of the Niger are hell bent on killing everybody in Nigeria with their fake products simply because they lost a war in 1967.

In the 80’s, nobody knew about fake & sub-standard products until these cannibalistic bastards claimed to be more industrious & commerce-driven than the British.

“Importer! Exporter! We are all Billionaires in BIAFLA LAND”

Fake drugs, fake shoes, fake fragrances, fake phone accessories, fake electrical appliances, fake everything you can think of.

Yet, they will be beating their hairy chests like a Mongolia Gorilla.

Awon Oloriburuku!
Those people are simply evil

Check the history of those bursted for fake drugs and expired drugs in Nigeria. They are 99.9% from one region. Very desperate and evil

So my Husband got a hamper this Holiday season and there was sweet corn inside of it. I was happy I wouldn't need to buy one to make fried rice.

Fast forward to when I stated cooking, something prompted me to check the container well since fake goods are trending and to my surprise, my sweet corn might be fake.

The word "Preservatives " isn't spelt correctly.

E dakun, what do you think?

Could be fake... If it was truly a UK product (seeing 69p there), then the spelling would be correct.

Chei. Nafdac as a matter of urgency should create a Database to collate all the items Manufactured or imported in Nigeria with verification link for people to scan each products for authentication.

It's simple. Manufacturers and importers of food replated products must go through NAFDAC to buy unique bar code to assign to their products.

Cancer will soon become an epidemic in our country.

Found out the soy sauce I had been using for weeks was fake also. The original name is Amoy; the one I bought was Amoys.
And the painful part was the fact I only discovered when it was nearly finished. I just simply threw away what was left of it, lesson learnt.

One really needs to be more vigilant these days when buying things in the market. The way at which these unscrupulous fake items merchandisers are going, many Nigerians will continue to be exposed to potential health hazards from consuming these adulterated food and drinks.

The thought alone is scary.

Nigeria is gradually becoming China. I watched some Chinese documentary and those people life is something else “Dangerously Fake”

The producers are people from one of the most filthy location that exist on the map of Nigeria

Animals in human skin, wicked and desperate to make money and won’t mind to poison the entire country.

Producers of fake foods, drinks and worst of all fake drugs. May they die horrible deaths and never find peace in this life and the here after

Fake bottled/packaged water, for me, is the greatest health risk we face as nation. I keep changing where I buy crates of bottled water. I used to buy in bulk, but I have stopped o. Sometimes after drinking from one, I have to abandon the rest and go buy elsewhere. In fact, I recently had to abandon Eva water because I discovered it is the most counterfeited table water.

This is a crisis, honestly. Too many fake products even in supposedly trustworthy supermarkets. Na GOD go punish counterfeiting demons o. angry

Romanoff.... why the fuss? ... the letters for the word are all there ... just the letter s jumped ahead. The corn is what is called "organic" ... which is natural corn.... like you said ... the same corn sold in the street. Try finding natural corn in the US... and if you do ... the price will he unbelievable. The very sweet corn you usually buy ... is the fake corn ... genetically modified to be that sweet. No additives ... preservatives ... lr Non GMO are what you should be looking for on the label of foodstuffs. If not there ... consider the product "fake".

No doubt .... people moving away from natural foods to canned and modified foods... believing they're eating better ... feeling that they have moved up in class.... moved to a higher standard of living. When diagnosed with cancer ... same mentality ..... prefer pharmaceutical treatment rather than natural cure.
