As much as I like him as a player, I think we need to let Partey go . It's frustrating seeing him play a couple of games, get injured and recover in time to go for AFCON or international break.

Make we just look for another person & buy

Giroud was very average while with us. Very very very average. Even Chelsea fans will tell you he's average while with them.

He can become France record goalscorer for all I care, it doesn't concern me cos I don't support France.

Even the Havertz sef, not that he's even exceptional so far. It's just that the bar from us is set low for him, so we're just supporting him and hoping he picks up very well to what we expect of an Attacking Midfielder.
The bolded is where rationality comes in an argument. First you claim (erroneously) that Giroud is average, yet you agree (factually) that he is the record goal scorer for France (against the likes of Henry, Benzema, etc) but because you know that what you said doesn't make logical sense, and that it is self contradictory, you wipe everything off with 'I don't care, it does not concern me'.

Do we even have a best team?
IMO, I don't think so. We may not be at the stage where we can confidently change the entire lineup and there won't be a drop in quality. But, we are not a 11-player team either.
Can you put out that best team please
I agree with you because our choice for best team is actually relative. However, I think a combination of

Raya, Timber, Gabriel, Saliba, Tomiyasu, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus, and Martinelli should represent our best eleven this season so far strictly in terms of quality and how Arteta wants to play.

You're the one twisting this thing here cos like I said I'm an arsenal fan so nothing concerns me concerns France

My emphasis is "Giroud was average for us(arsenal)". Very very average.
Is that a fact? Yes

Is like you telling Madrid fans about Hazard and that he's a very good player for them because of his exploits in Chelsea, or Man u fans and Sanchez. How does it concerns them when theyre one of the biggest flop in their history?

I'll always say it, Nothing concerns me (esp arsenal) concerns France or his record in France. He can't be playing nonsense for us and when we want to criticize, you'll start pointing France.

Is that even rational?

Lol.

You talk like I live in France or my umbilical cord was buried there.

My point is you will always be wrong if you say that a record goal scorer for a country like France is average not to talk of 'very very' average. My point is if you take such a stand it simply means you nor know ball.

Have an open mind and you will see clearly. Giroud has won French League, Seria A, PL, UCL, WC, etc. and he won all these as a major player in his teams. It's we fans that don't know how to rate players that call Giroud average. Dude is still balling in AC Milan till today.

Giroud won PL with who??

But then, I don't want to go to his personal achievements cos it's enviable, no doubt.

My point is... HE WAS A VERY VERY AVERAGE PLAYER FOR US.

I don't know what's hard there. Prove that he's not an average player for us and you'll be rational. You'll have a very strong point.

Stop calling me seria A, la Liga bundesliga or what not. It does not concern me cos those ones does not give me footballing joy.

How is that hard to understand?

Nelson is the current face of Hale. ESR injury don make am comot that title. Now we have about a dozen Hale End boys doing way above the level, with about 5 balling on EPL standards already.

If it is hard for a fit Nelson to see more minutes, then by inference, e go hard to see our desires come through for these boys. Bench appearance no be am. 2minutes, 5minutes, 7mins. Let's just them.

Reminds me of a teenager that a manager was bringing on to just come get mins in injury time. All it took was 2minutes to influence the game on it's head. Manager is satisfied with draw, teenager made it a win. His career took the spin up from there. You know this player. Lol.

I hope they get minutes really

"Rio Ferdinand On Saka And Martinelli"

Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are now two of the most feared wingers in the Premier League and Rio Ferdinand saw it coming as long as three years ago.

The young Gunners duo, whose combined age of 44 is younger than Ferdinand at 45, were both handed their debuts under Unai Emery but really cemented their status as Arsenal regulars under current boss Mikel Arteta in 2020. After one sensational display on Boxing Day of that year, during what was an otherwise dismal campaign, Ferdinand tipped the pair for big things.

Speaking after a 3-1 home victory over Chelsea, the Manchester United legend claimed: "I watched Martinelli at Bournemouth away last season, him and Saka together, they have a link up and a relationship that's already there that I think in years to come will be a scary relationship. Scary!

"They work so well together. And [Kieran] Tierney as well backing it up. But Martinelli, I have to say is going to be a tremendous footballer. Top player. He has come back into this team and he is showing what all the fuss was about before. He is going to be a huge, huge player. Massive talent. I just hope he can stay fit. Saka, him as well."

Three years on, Ferdinand's prediction was incredibly accurate, with Saka and Martinelli two of the first names on Arteta's teamsheet. The pair played a vital role in last season's title charge and though the Gunners fell short in the end, the duo ended the campaign with 14 and 15 league goals respectively.

Saka has picked up where he left off this term, with a further five goals and six assists in the league alone this term before Christmas. Martinelli has found goals a tad harder to come by, with just two league strikes to his name so far.

Both still only 22, Arsenal have convinced the pair of them to commit their long-term future to the club in recent months. Both have shown on more than one occasion they are players that can be relied upon for the big occasions.

Martinelli's only home league goal this season came in the form of a late winner against title rivals Manchester City. Saka netted in the north London derby, as well as a number of vital, last-gasp assists to keep Arsenal's title charge alive.

Interesting.
You go to bring up a quote from Ferdinand to make it look weighty.
It is football we're talking about, not how to Govern a country better.
Everyone has the licence to talk about it.

Ferdinand cannot tell me what I know about Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard.

Let's end the debate.
Giroud was very effective in our system which we tried to mould after TH14 or RVP .
The was good for plan B and he was effective there. I still remember his goal against Man U.

France worked on his strength with Greizman as support striker and Mbappe on the wings.

The system is key for Giroud performance.
Some players can play in every system but some just flopped for no explainable reason e.g Sanchez at Man u and Torres at Chelsea.
Hazard has serious injury and i remember questioning the purchase by RM. They bought him while still unfit.

How can you say he was good for plan B when he's generally played as a plan A striker?

That even ends the debate that he was even average here cos you just implied he's not good as a plan A Striker which is what we've been saying all these while

Obviously, France worked to his strength cos they were playing one route football and counter(so he's basically for holdup play). Coupled with the fact they had Wc/top players in almost every position helped too.

Our team is not known for that and it showed.

Anyone who watched Giroud and feel that we didn't need more than Giroud all those years we played here(akin to us wanting an upgrade on Laca), then I dunno what to say undecided

Na Giroud weh Arsenal under Wenger dey fashion chances upon chances naim Giroud dey score 16. Plus even him all round play for us no too dope.

I have to commend Saliba again for him Usain Bolt mode vs Nunez. That Nunez no sabi. There's a high chance Salah passes to him and he'll flop it.

Another clip angle shows that Declan Rice deliberately blocked the line of view of Salah's left leg so he doesn't shoot. This clip makes me furious with Zinny again.

Question: How did City do it sef? 8th to 1st!!

Relax hayzuz is your striker moreover he has more goals and assists than him this season and even last...

This your winger? Best right winger in epl grin

Last season there was a debate on who is better between him and Tomiyasu.

This season, Tomi is better honestly, bar his consistent injuries.
