Didn't follow their issue. But what I know is that any man that can not control his wife it is his fault. A man should be able to keep his wife under subjection without destroying his home. It is not for outsiders to tell u, u should know what to do. Women have a tendency to go overboard, and their unique position in the man's life places them unfortunately as easy target for his friends and family. In this case the madam is a double outsider as she is a member of a different tribe. I believe Aketi would have sifted the wheat (accusations that were valid) from the chaff (spurious allegations), the back and forth should stop, may he continue to rest in peace.

Akeredolu died in a German hospital, was his wife of 30 years with him at his last moment?.
If the woman was there with him, she has no case to answer, but if she wasn't there with him at that moment, then Akeredolu made a wrong choice of a wife.
What could be more important than her husband's life?.

I support the wife joor!

Why will I allow my husband who is governor to take concoction from a person who is ambitious to be Deputy if my husband dies?

She was right and Akeredolu trusted his wife. He lived that long because of that woman. She was his fierce protector!

These ones are just betrayer, imagine calling your boss a weakling publicly just days after his death angry

The way these people are trying to shift all the blame to the woman is really surprising....

Would all these blame games come into play if her name was Betty Adeosun?

Allow the family mourn peacefully.... Except you are angry the First lady did not open the looting vault for you and your cronies.

May be the reason she's the way she's is her name. I meant may be she's like that because of where she came from

If you can become wealthy or a governor it means you have a good wife.As majority of successful men are sometimes reckless they need guidance from either their mother or their wife in order to be successful in life
A good woman will also cares about her husband not what other think about her.
People say bad things about such women because she won’t allow them to cheat her husband

This has nothing to do with her name or where she came from. Can you answer why the woman refused to follow her husband to Germany? Aketi died in the hands of strangers in Germany. That should be a pointer to the kind of person she is.
I don't support Aketi's friends that are coming out to talk to the media.

"Aketi was a weakling". The man has not even been buried yet!

With friends like you, who needs enemies. And to think you are an enemy who integrated yourself into his life for so many years.

If you do not know how to use words or are not able to control yourself from putting down your friends, don't you know how to keep your mouth shut?

Women can bring down the strongest of men, ask Samson

Over 24 years of marriage.... She was married to him when he became a SAN, a governor and na bring down she bring him down because his friends could not get him since he had a powerful wife. Akeredolu was a strong man who could finish off Betty at any point but instead he yielded to her because over time he has come to relaise that she is in his corner..... just like Remi Tinubu.

I am no fan of APC or thier corrupt politicians I am talking about marriage. When a man's associate hates his wife and yet the man loves her it is because she is his ADC... security against the jegudujera. I am not saying she did not steal I am talking simply about marriage. HE ADORED HER AND SHE ADORED HIM TOO.... the rest of us are not a part of that marriage.

Please keep quiet and and kindly answer my question;

Are you closer to the woman?

Are you working in the State House?

Are you a direct member of the Akeredolu family?

Why didn't y'all talk about her atrocities during her 37 years of marriage to your brother?

Why is it now that Aketi is no more you guys are now talking?

Answer me and stop this your malicious propaganda against the woman.

If you are a Christian, you'll see where your Holy Book stated it clearly in the commandments that you shouldn't Bear False Witness.
Don’t just look at the headline, read the original post here. It came from someone closer to the family. I know you will still argue.

I will like to know what really happened, Betty Akeredolu just needs to be beside her husband wherever he goes for treatments and the story might have been different.
What is greater than life?, Is power greater than life?, all the power and money in this world can't buy a single life, so what's special about money and power?.
A woman that should have been the one begging her husband, to hand over and focus on staying alive.
People needs to focus on the most important things, its not a sign of weakness, it is a show of courage and intelligence..
Now that the man is dead, can she still hold on to the power?.
Yorubas' says eyan o ki nle nkan meji, ko ma pa adanu ikan.
You can't chase two things and not lose one.
In Betty Akeredolu's case she lost both,
Omi danu, agbe tun fo.
For an educated woman of Betty Akeredolu's caliber, it's been an absolute total rubbish.
Pure unadulterated nonsense.

The woman must have trained Professor Wole Akeredolu in school too. I don't know how the husband that she met during NYSC would have ended up at Arakale Motor Park.

I would be surprised if they didn't do what they are doing now. Hate the woman, then hate her twice as much because she is Igbo. . . It's not new.
However, it is the scars that make a warrior not the praises. Betty Aketi is a woman of war who fought alongside her king. Give her that.

Now that this woman has killed our son, we have to wash his body and the woman must drink the bath water to prove her innocence as done in igboland. After that, she should pack her nylon bags and go back to her owerri, she is not welcome in any Yorubaland.

I still remember this was my same take concerning the governor., He was a good individual but a very weak father and a home frontier! May we not keep a woman that will help speed up our death season. The way and manner she tried taking over the public office after her husband went to Europe was terrible.Men, pls learn to keep your wives under tab as public figures else your shame will be gargantuan!

I agree with you on the conviction part, however I am sorry to say he didn't live long because of her.

Once he was diagnosed, she should have asked him to resign as Governor immediately so he can face his issues squarely.

Like I said before, Aketi would have resigned as soon as Betty insisted. Instead we had pictures of an emaciated Aketi watching champions league football or news of him trying to rule from Ibadan. Who else was with him in that Ibadan? It certainly wasn't Aiyedatiwa or his commissioners or special advisers.

Betty should have put her foot down, the consequences of her not doing so are now there for all to see, shame.
