I hope you know the Nigerian forex market isn't enough to determine whether dollars goes up or down in the world market....

dollar is the most tradeable currency in the world ..not just in Nigeria....

Many Nigerians could trade their dollars for naira during Christmas doesn't mean it will fall in the world market....

there are many other determinants...

If a whole buncha people are trying to sell dollat for naira where will you get all that naira from? So price of dollar AGAINST NAIRA falls, world market or no world market!

You seem to be a bit confused. We are talking value of DOLLAR AGAINST NAIRA!!!! Currency prices don't fall and rise against nothing - THEY GO IN PAIRS!! If more people start exchanging dollar for naira, price of dollar against Naira (ONLY) will fall!!
