The issue is that most people won't complain if these players aren't "mentally tired" as you put it. Afterall, someone like Klopp uses his first eleven on most occasions and they aren't mentally tired.

You guys don't even think. I was expecting your line of argument on the stats to be that RVP didn't play for Arsenal at his peak. Most of his games were when he was young and still growing. He barely gave us two full seasons. Most of the goals he scored were during those two seasons. Unlike Giroud who played for us during his peak years. This was the reason I agreed with Davep that stats are indicative not conclusive.

Abeg.... Saying the whole system was changed because of Havertz is mere fallacy. I've never seen a single legend come out to say this. Meanwhile, you still never drop proof. Havertz slotted in to replace Xhaka but he has not replicates what Xhaka does. That's what you should have said. Infact, you can say he is not fit for such role and I wouldn't argue with you.

That's not a bonus. Before goals, there is the first, second and third phase build ups. There is need to keep possession too. Timber excels at these at least judging from 3 or 4 matches he has played.

Let me add that before the attack can function, the defense must be strong which is far from the current situation.
