It is easier to import and distribute than to manufacture in Nigeria. That's the best business model most entrepreneurs and companies have adopted in Nigeria. If you don't import, those importers will import them and sell at a far cheaper rate. I am sure the company is facing serious competition from importers of syringes and other challenges like logistics and human. But as an importer, you don't need many staff and capital outlay.

When people do bad business they attribute it to government policies.
Syringe and needle business as long as I'm concerned is a very lucrative business.
If u investigate well now u will find out they did bad business.
Oga calm down, do you know the factors involved, even if you make good profits only to turn back and spend huge percentage on diesel, what good is that, do you know how much tax they are being taxed, do you have any idea if the bottle neck in doing business in Nigeria, please calm down

The lazy okp*lor eyes is defending the naira just to avoid shame of disappointment from his mamaput babes. For how long can the most lazy and worst leader defend it.

He is not doing foundational buildings of anything. Under his watch, many businesses are feeling really hopeless; and crimes including treasury looting is at an all time high. All these flaws will add to the pressure on the naira.

it might get to 2000 if no major conflict takes place in the world in 3 months. He is busy blocking it from getting to 1400 now. It is such a pity to depend on Nigeria now.

This has nothing to do with APC.
It has more to do with Nigerians as a people.

The way people wailed, whined and complained during the 8 years of Buhari, should APC had gotten even up to 500k votes in 2023?

Apparently people are enjoying the hardship. There is no other reasonable explanation for the madness.

Every company packing up and the government is not doing anything.
Anyway you don't give what you don't have.
Since they are private companies then I don't think the government needs to intervene

You have universities of agriculture all over the place, funded with billions of Naira, where are the products of these universities? Divert all the Senators SUV procurement fund both at the Federal level and State Level House of Representatives member SUVs into procurement of tractors and food production to eliminate importations of food and see if there won’t be sufficient food for the poor

Bros, just the money spent on power ie running diesel generators is enough to close down any business.
Syringe manufacturing involves plastic. In that business, you cannot have interrupted power supply as you will have wastages from plastic solidifying in the injection molding machines. Just an example.
In that case, I can imagine them running generator for 24 hours. Millions and millions in daily expense. Infact it will seem you are working just to pay your supplier.

Udom was a kind of not educated the type of business he invested in. His associates didn't advice him well before establishing the syringe company.

He even went ahead to build international worship center with almost billions of naira. What for? How will the worship center benefit the government interms of revenue?

How many people can afford to rent the place for use?

Just wasting money on irrelevant things.

The only investment I applaud him is adding more aircraft to ibom air.

Company that will fold this year are companies that thier product offer little to no value to people.

How many people uses syringe on a daily?

If he had good associates they would have advised him on agriculture. It would have been a good one because Akwaibom has good soil for planting.
The pencil company is that one still alive grin
