Nairaland has been taken over by kids. Seun really has a lot to do to sanitize this forum.

Funny country. How can you ban universities like Makerere where it’s standard is better than any university in Nigeria, recognized all over the world, and placed higher in ranking both on the African and World rankings. In Nigeria, only Covenant and and sometimes University of Ibadan comes to close to par with Makerere of Uganda ‘at the moment’

I like the way this government is taking this issue seriously.

If it was Buhari's tenure, nobody would even notice this scandal. Buhari was always shocked, surprised or didn't even know what was happening around him.

Dude was clueless and incompetent and still appointed people like him to run the government. I don't think anyone can be as bad as he was.

Funny joke

Keep deceiving yourself. Even the president bought his own certificate, bought the electoral commission, bought the supreme court and you think he's better than Buhari

You people are very funny. Chicago State University was asked to present the transcript of a student who finished in 1979...that's over 40 years ago! Guess what, they did!

Go to your university in Nigeria (that's if you attended one) and find out if they can even reproduce the transcript of a student who finished in 1990, let alone 1979. Dey play!

So what happens with those who graduated from these universities prior to this? Are their certificates still valid?

This is going too far, the result will only sabotage the diplomacy relationship between Nigeria and these African countries.
If this is how relationships work for you, then you need to reexamine your life and values.

The uncovering of issues of this nature is what a professional investigative journalist should be engaging in, not the other mumu Ghana refugee who is still waiting for FBI report. God bless the journalist that uncovered this for contributing his quota to the nation.

Even after the facts have been established, you're still lying.

The established facts is, Tinubu used faked SSCE and committed identity theft to gain admission into CSU. He attended the school for two years but when he was about to graduate, he eloped from the school and refused to take his English course which is a mandatory course. Without English, Tinubu didn't graduate from the university - that's especially why he had to forge their certificate.

Of course we all know why CSU stood and fought for him - he bought them. And we all know that case didn't become a subject of federal investigation which could have unraveled these facts for the Nigerian courts - because it's not in the interest of the US government. The American court did what they were asked to do, the representatives of the school lied on oath obviously

This fg is stupid-o....What makes fg think that those countries can't treat you likewise. Do you know how many Nigerians are working outside Nigeria with Nigerian universities certs?
Re: FG To Withdraw Recognition Of Kenya, Uganda, Niger Varsities by mayama(m): 7:21am On Jan 04
There drag net should not be close to East Africa as universities in that region are far better in quality delivery of education, especially Uganda and Kenya

Their certificates are invalid. Any higher education they used their certificate to obtain is also invalid in Nigeria.

But this is Nigeria, where a man that didn't meet criteria to graduate from Chicago State University used huge stolen funds to buy Chicago State university representatives to lie on oath and he is today the President of Nigeria even when it was obvious that Tinubu didn't meet all requirements to graduate from CSU. And after lying that he graduated from a secondary school in Lagos that never existed as at when he said he graduated from there.

So expect nothing to happen to those parading forged certificates from those fake universities in Benin, Togo, Cyprus, Ukraine, Russia, etc

Hoo hooo, stop crying. CSU is a US recognised university better than any of your universities in Nigeria. Check their ratings on world Universities lust by Times Education. Atiku should cry to death. He is a loser for ever. Let him contest 100x he will lose 100 x. And you, you better find something good to do and stop taking stipends from Atiku.
