Lol...

Frontpage comments are funny.

Fact 1: Nigeria is a corrupt nation; therefore, public officeholders loot.

Fact 2: Despite the loot going on, a politician can still make a landmark record.

Fact 3: Other Nigerians started "beefing" that region the politician decided to still do something. Lol.

Fact 4: If we want progressive development in all parts of the country, we should change the system and not the people. We start by making sure we make instant electronic transmission of votes from centres to the main system, and we install at least 10 CCTVs in all the voting units (I believe we can handle 2 million units...we are talking about a nation for goodness sake).

Fact 5: If we cannot achieve fact 4 above for the 2027 elections, Nigeria should split because we will never be progressive.

Tinubu did his "abrakatabra" in Lagos as a governor, and Femi followed his steps as a lawmaker. Tinubu is the president while Femi despite being the number 3 citizen of Naija resigned to be Tinubu's chief of staff. Do you not see the pattern? grin

You are busy insulting him despite what he did (we know he looted), but your own senators and lawmakers did nothing to your region. You left the region and moved to Lagos, PH, and Abuja, and you enjoy what they are doing presently there. Then, you move to hijack the regions starting with Lagos is no man's land. wink

So, you think they will allow you to come make Lagos like your region. Ok ooo. Oh! Lagos used federal income when it was the capital. But you forgot that all the sources of income FG created while Lagos was the capital are shared among all states just like oil. Lol. Yet, these Lagosians started with the little they could get and they built on it. Your governors are busy embezzling and you left your regions. Lol. Ok ooo. Keep on hating Lagos.

I think it is far better for a polician to loot and use the greater part of the looted fund to develop the community rather than to keep such money in foreign bank accounts.

Some comments here are the reason we need regional governance asap so everyone can go there way and, most importantly, remain in their lane.

All that ‘one Nigeria’ does it to encourage the hate and envy that drives the senseless and bitterly negative comments on this thread by those who can never give credit where dues or be happy for others.

One would think Gbaja , from their comments, has committed a crime rather than serve his constituency meritoriously as we demand Nigerian leaders do.

Yet sadists can only be bitter, negative and petty in running down good things not in their states or Villages or not being delivered by their wicked IPOB brothers they know will never give them such projects anyway.

Same evil hatred of the leaders of others they have carried in their souls for many decades, from the Nzeogwu days, they still host in their heart for Gbaja, Sanwo Olu etal today. Pathetic.

If there is one man who truly cares about the plight of the people, it is Femi Gbajabiamila. You just need to come to Surulere to know what he has done. Those who live outside of Lagos will not understand. This man has done so much for his constituency. I wish all our politicians can follow suit, but corruption, greed will never allow them to. Femi is really a man of the people. Lets forget about APC or no APC, dude has really done a lot. His impact has been felt, which is a rarity in this Nigeria of today where everyone is slimy, greedy, selfish, corrupt. See I keep saying it, if this country is going to be good, change must come from within. Nigerians need to change their mentality for that to happen.
