How do they intend to do the theory on cbt too?

So you don't know you can type in CBT?
You must be one of the almajiris they are trying so hard to protect.

The only thing I think CBT can't do is solving maths step by step but I'm sure it exists somewhere.

It is the responsibility of the Northern elites cum leaders to ensure that the region is swiftly upgrading as technological advancements waits no one.

Northern Nigeria cannot continue to be a clog in the wheel of progress of southern Nigeria.

Since they decided to embrace and place too much importance on religion over education and technology, then they should face the consequences alone, and not drag the southern Nigeria into their self-inflicted sufferings.

Lord Luggard and his woman-friend shall never know peace wherever they are right now.

Instead of rising to educate the North, you prefer they remain in stone age.

What about JAMB, should it also be optional?

Once you take them computer training, they start watching films.

But they can use technology to rig elections and it worked for them. No be same computer dem dey use? Fg should never back down. What is good for me is good for all. No one should hold the country to ransom because of their backwardness. They should upgrade or face the consequences. No more quota system.
No u wrong

That was intentional sabotage of the technology that was provided to produce a credible elections. It was deliberate act.

F00lish talk. They are happy each time they write nasarawa, plateau and benue as northerners.
Very backward homo sapiens. Nigeria should divide abeg. I'm tir3d of seeing these bunch of almajiris as Nigerians. Let SW, SS and SE unite and push these boko haram, bandits and kidnappers into deserts where they belonged. We cannot kwantinue like this. Haba! Allah ya kiyaye

I dey shame for this folks.

In this 21st century?

Is this how we want to rub shoulders with advanced nations of this world?

I keep saying it; the best way to curb examination malpractice and miracle centers in Nigeria is to totally shift from paper-based exams to 100% computer based (this should apply to both internal & external exams).
CCTV should also be installed in all exam halls and centers with neutral supervisors monitoring everything from a control room.

Yes, just like VAR.
they fool yourself , am pretty sure if then give u waec now for you to write. Honestly u won't have up to 3credits. The rest u go just fail am . Almost all Nigerians make use of miracles center even me too, those questions are as tough as hell. grin

The world have moved on from pen and pepper exams to CBT and it has taken us too long as a country to catch on. But here is the North telling the rest of the country to wait for a few more years. Nawa ooo.!!!
Stop saying what you don't know. Every exam can't be computer based

Even China that produces most of the systems/laptops still take exams with pen and paper.

they can write theory on paper for now, though in some certification courses now, you write theory on the computer but I think that will be too much for school children

He has a point. But it won't cause failure only in Northern Nigeria. It will cause failure across the entire country.

But he's speaking for Northern Nigeria because he's with an association that represents Northern Nigeria. The proper thing to do is to introduce paper and computer tests and allow students to choose between both.

There should also be mock exams for those that choose computer tests. That way, the students will become familiar with the process while WAEC will be able to test their infrastructure and process to ensure everything works as it should.

Oga chill

Do you know the number of students that take waec every year?

Can the Government provide systems for about 1.5m candidats that registers for WAEC?

You know how long/batch it took to take jamb exam for only 4 subjects, then check how complicated it will be for WAEC with 9 subjects and more candidates.

This is the reason nigeria is where we are today because of the north. If backwardness is part of them,I think the south should move on and leave them behind. The north cannot continue to hold the country ransom. They are not ashamed that after holding power for years, they are still backward.
