We need good investigators to beam a searchlight on the claim by the office of AGF. We need to know if this claim is true or not. If the AGF was found to be telling lies, she should be dragged. I don't care if she's a Yoruba woman, anybody that is bent on bringing Nigeria to her knees, they will not know peace. The level of suffering is increasing and some useless people will continue to siphon public funds that should have been used to alleviate poverty in the land. Anybody stealing public funds and causing untold hardship to the people will not have good health to enjoy that fund by the special grace of God.

searchlight has already been searched. the problem is that many people were expecting too much from Tinubu forgetting that a leopard can never change its spots

Let us make this clear to Nairalanders that do not understand what exactly is going on,
Here you have it....

This document we are talking about showed that the payment of the N585.198 million grant, meant for vulnerable groups in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ogun and Lagos states, was made into one Bridget Oniyelu’s account.
However, reacting to this the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Minister,
Rasheed Zubair said N585.198 million payment for the vulnerable group followed due process.

From all of us at MANNA, this is our take on this issue,
Personal money shall in no circumstances be paid into a government bank account, nor shall any public money be paid into a private bank account. An officer who pays public money into a private account is deemed to have done so with fraudulent intention.
This is what Obi Pandora did in Anambra State that we are against.
Stealing the state money and transferring it to his family account.
He frittered away their state treasury to fund his family business as revealed in Pandora papers.
Being caught with 250 million in cash!
We say no to FRAUD in all ramifications.

A better Nigeria 🇳🇬 all around is all we want.

We Rise ✔️

Too much loopholes in Nigeria system. I'm very sure, all these ministries and agencies must have seen the rate of looting during Buhari regime and think the same will still continue unabated. But it seems women are somehow desperate these days and their ways of looting is even more daring than that of men.
That's why I will never take women seriously. They just need the space to show how irresponsible they can be
Re: We Did Not Make The Payments As Requested By Minister, Edu - Accountant-General by ThebestPromise: 3:39pm On Jan 06
Like I have always been saying, the problem is never the elected or the appointees but rather the institutional failures. While the country moved from military to the civilian government, the system has not changed. Bring AA, PO or anyone the system will still fail them. What we need is institutional reforms.

The whole scenario is not strange to the civil servants but the saving grace was that the money did not scale through the office of the AGF.

And as per the other one that was caught, the money was from the 2023 budget and I suspect the money was released to the caucus that raised it reason there was a backlash.

Henceforth, there should a digital way through which monies can be paid without hassle.

For example, the government can use the Post Office to dispense the cash to the vulnerable ones. The vulnerable ones should be enumerated and given a loaded debit card which will be loaded via fintechs.

Please tell us exactly how this is different to Buhari's regime. Barely how many weeks ago was the COP saga, now this one.
