I tried to book an IW appointment and after being timed out a few times, i got the following message : “Your account has been frozen for suspicious activity, and you will not be able to access it for up to 72 hours. Your account will be unfrozen automatically after that time. Our call center agents will not be able to assist you with unfreezing your account or scheduling your appointment until then.”

1. Should i worry about being frozen for suspicious activity? I honestly just tried more than 2ice to access the page.
2. Is it advisable to check after, say 48 hours?

Additionally, I have a trip outside the country for 17th Feb leaving me with 4weeks from dropoff safe instead of 8 weeks advised by the US consulate. Does anyone know the average processing time for iwp from dropoff to pickup in lagos

HOW TO RETRIEVE an old DS160 and use the details to start a new one

Go to https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
enter location
enter captcha
click on "Retrieve Application"
provide old application ID (old DS160 number)
answer security questions: Name, year of birth, security question
System will tell you that DS160 has been submitted, then give you 2 options: "view confirmation page" or "create a new application".
Choose "create new application" and click continue

check the "I agree" box under the computer fraud section
note your new application ID
set your new security questions
Log in again with your new Application ID (new DS160 number).
You will see that most of the fields are already prefilled with information from your previous DS160
Scroll through carefully and fill/update/edit as appropriate
Upload your picture and submit the new DS160

On the left panel, choose "Update profile"

Please what should I do next? And how long is it most likely to take before I get a response?

You just have to be patient and wait for the email from the embassy letting you know you can proceed to schedule your appointment. For me I waited almost 3 weeks, some have had longer or shorter wait times. There’s no specific timeframe.

I have my visa interview for next week. The appointment was booked in December, 2022. I put to birth August, 2023 and got a visa date for my baby for March, 2024. Will I be able to go in with my baby and get interviewed for his visa with mine? Note that I have to go with him since he is exclusively breastfed. I look forward to responses. Thank you

Approved on Monday, picked passport on Thursday. Went from Approved(Monday) to Issued(Tuesday Night), Document available at DHL on Wednesday night, picked on thursday
