As long as you’re not going to Ivory Coast to watch the game live you’re a critic and not a fan

And your opinion doesn’t matter aside from this forum

Buy ticket go see coach one on one and lay your complaints aside that y’all should stop making noise abeg now it’s getting annoying
For here we get guardiola and ancelloti
But none of una go fit coach Npfl team
But na una sabi draw 424, 351,

I repeat everyone here as just critics and not a fan

Most of y’all secretly pray the teams does bad
The ability to pay for flights and a match ticket,is not the only critteria for one to be a Fan..

That is a privilege,a privilege that many passionate Fans do not have..

You might criticise those that unduly antagonise, but your first paragraph is nothing but broke shaming..

Exactly. Many will carry their side chicks to the tournament, and those chicks know nothing about football. Is he saying those chicks are better football fans than those who put their time, dedication and passion to read and engage in football issues regarding their beloved team?

I’m not broke shaming anyone with my first paragraph as a matter of fact i myself fall under the first paragraph

But the shaming and insults is enough none of us here can play like the boys

Since we can’t play why can’t we be true fans

Because so far it’s only critics, coaches and scouts that in this forum no fan at all at all

CAF gave una 27 man sloth.
Call up 27 man players, you say No.
Na 25 players you wan use.
Now reality don hit you.
You go interview go dey blame NFF meanwhile you were the person that hurriedly presented a 25man list to CaF.
Players you're now calling up no dey your tactical resume, some have not played under you. You're hoping on individual brilliance.
It's now a game of try & luck... after all, lamba no dey finish for your mouth to know say you don prepare 1001 reasons wey you go present to Media why you team didn't meet up to expectations.

I still doubt he'll adopt the 442. He dare not try it.

A coach must monitor NPFL and have at least five players close to his chest in case of club refusal to release a player n this kind of a situation.

Exactly my point. There's no way you can tell me there is no decent CF in the NPFL that can be called up as an emergency replacement.

What are the scouts doing?

You need to take it easy on Nwakali bro. Dont you think you're being too harsh on him? I mean he's not even as bad as you people claim on here.

This is African football and not the world cup that requires world class players to make impact.

And moreover Nwakali, despite being in the weakest team of the Liga Portugal, has been proving himself to be among the best midfielders in that same league by appearing in team of the week and racking up impressive stats.

Reason am nah bros...

The Portuguese league is staggered to me , the top 4/5 clubs good quality. The next 10 clubs poor Quality and the bottom section very poor.

Would you say because a player is getting good stats in the NPFL he should be invited to the SE.

Peopl over hype him ,his club, and the bottom section of his league. If a player is any good he simply will not be going from one mediocre club to another.

When you think of his wages it tells you the story .

I compared a mid table team in the Portuguese league Boavista with Bolton in English League one. The average weekly wage on both clubs is almost the same.

What's shocking is Chavez is much smaller. The wages you will determine the quality of players you will get, it's very simple.

I have not seen anything 😞 outstanding 😔 in his play, he would not survive in league one and I am being generous.

Serious, throbbing QUESTION

When do Nigerian Goalkeepers want to break the EPL club jinx for good?

We see the Senegal and Cameroon doing that but it is like a terror zone, especially for African Gks at large. I can't even id the 1st or last NG keeper to at least make bench in epl club, even if na bottom half team. Is it that bad and tasking? Even if they aren't good enough, those not good enough are still there. So what's the crux for this decades old thing? It is worrisome!!

Modified

Since Yakubu and Osaze, which Nigerian forward(Super Eagles regular) has excelled and left a record in the EPL?

Bros you really fall hand on this KC matter o.

Kelechi is an important tool in the Super Eagles if you don't know... His creativity, shooting accuracy and finishing is an "essential commodity" for take it or leave it bro. (although he has his cold days too)

Abeg who be our current best forward after Victor as per performance? No be KC?

You even mentioned last season being impressive. Shey im no dey do well for SE? Was he not one of our best players at the last Afcon when the highly revered Awoniyi failed to turn up?

Who was the hero against the Egyptian team that was popularly expected to tear us apart? Was it not him?

You just focus only on club football waaa like that no be so na.

And he was also confirmed to be match fit against our second game so what's the fuss for?

Sadiq was confirmed fit but where did that get him.

When a player has been out for 5/6 games like KC and is getting treatment for muscle injuries he is not fit.

Normally such a player is introduced gradually not immediately, because the propensity for injury is very high. When you rush back into high intensity activity immediately. This is a high intensity tournament with little or no time to recover and or recuperate. You have to be fit no questions.

The KC attributes you have described and claimed , have never been consistently confirmed at club level. Last two seasons he scored 9 goals from 54 games over two seasons in the EPL, that's actually poor.

He is now in the Championship and he has scored 5 goals from 20 games, it's not the form that says clinical finisher top marksman, finisher and creative player. You ar holding on to fantasy. He is joint 34 in the Championship goal scorer table with 5 goals. He was going to boss the Championship many said here 😉 but the Championship is bossing and flogging him, no debate. Defenders have scored more goals than him. He is no longer essential to Leicester, he is not essential for Nigeria.

You cannot be an anonymous mouse 🐭 in the Championship and then go to the AFCON and be Lion 🦁.

I don't know why IGHALO was not invited he has more to offer than Sadiq, Onuachu even Moffi. If inconsequential Musa can be invite why not IGHALO.

Ighalo has scored the same number of goals or more than , Benzema, Mane, Mahrez, etc ❓ But nobody likes him here because not a word said here about him. KC is absolutely not better than him in the HERE and NOW.

In England Raheem was dropped because his form was not good enough 😔 it seems. They did not rely on past glories.

Lookman is selfish. Even as a wingman he does not pass but always looking to score by himself. That's why he's not been impactful in the SE.

He overloads the attack because he's not a confident coach so him go wan rush you with everything. Because he knows his middle is soft and the longer the game drags, the easier it becomes for the team flaws to show.

The rank and file of the Super Eagles management and leadership of the NFF have contrived to put us in jeopardy. It is almost as if the Afcon came up suddenly or the Super Eagles were called in late to replace a country.

It's absolutely shocking reading Brown Ideye's tweet alleging that Sodiq was injured before coming to camp and the management was aware. They are now hustling to bring in late replacements on hitherto unbalanced team.

This reminds me of a botched friendly against Romania back in mid2000s where we couldn't field 11 players and resorted to ask the Romanian FA if they knew Nigerians playing football in the country who could be interested to play the game. grin

On a lighter note, maybe we should ask Ivory coast if there are Nigerians who play football in their country and would be interested in playing Afcon 😂

Ehn but he didn't talk about Amuneke now. And yes it was obvious Oliseh was too hot headed. Because how can you explain only him fighting at two different jobs, given the remarkable job he did in Holland only to use ego to bungle everything. I would love to hear Mikel's views om Keshi and Siasia too. I think he liked Siasia though as he bankrolled the U23 Olympic team in the US and that Olympic sort of cost him his place in Chelsea and things went downhill from there.

Also, I think Mikel is a complete gentleman and he had a good rapport with the team as captain. The only thing is, he himself isn't interested in coaching. Hope he gets some training on management and maybe might just be like another Emenalo.

Our opponents will use Lesotho and Zim playbook. Simple. Defend in numbers and use Route 1 if opportunity comes.
