You can't speak for the North, rather speak as to your political worth.

How many votes did you give the winner of the last election? grin
take away your votes from the votes of the winner of last election he will still win with over million votes so what's your political worth?

So in essence, you bank more on Ibori's past glory?, we are talking of 2019 bro, no doubt Ibori is a smart shap, but we've got some smart dudes even in this SS.
Apart from Wike and Akpabio, I don't see any smart one Bro.

No doubt about that, Infact, I am of the opinion that he was the best SS governor during his time. Dude was Fearless and had this tenacity and doggedness... Even his friend from Edo State with Mushroom mustache, Lucky Igbinedion can attest to that. He gave the SS a new look politically, He gave Deltans strength to have faith in government. Ibori never owed any worker, Infact, his developmental strides made Delta state one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.

Let's not forget how he carefully selects his commissioner's and made a great choice in selecting Veronica Ogbuagu as the commissioner of Education placing Delta state very high in quality Education, Sports, Entertainment, you name it, He touched everywhere.

If he was to be a footballer, then he would be likened to the ever Smiling "Ronaldinho"

Deltans Love Him, I love Him More.

Odidigboigbo is the FATHER of Delta State, Okowa his loyal boy is still trying.

God bless Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

At he end of everything. He still went to prison in UK .What a good man

Ibori is still the best governor that my state has ever seen.
His projects were durable and also genuine unlike the madness we have today.

Ibori is better than Okowa and Uduaghan combined.

Ibori was a useless governor please! A very useless "share the money" nincompoop. Felix Ibru might have been better. Till today Ogbemudia's Warri-Sapele Road outshines any nonsense odidigboyibo did.

A good leader is one with a successful succession plan. Ibori brought both Uduaghan (his cousin) and Okowa. None of which have performed half. Tinubu brought Fashola who outperformed him, brought Ambode who underperformed and was immediately removed. I'm a Deltan but please don't hail Ibori. He let us down. If he had invested all that "share the money" on education in Delta, we'd be miles ahead

If not for the trial in UK Ibori would have been totally exonerated. In fact, more than 90 count charges relating to corruption and embezzlement against him were struck out for lack of evidence in Nigeria before he was convicted in the UK for same related charges.
As far as selective justice prevails in our country, the country won't make progress.

My major concern in all these happenings in the country is the attitude of the youths. An average youth sees nothing wrong in government officials being corrupt as far they're getting their own share.
If the so-called leaders of tomorrow are comfortable with the current status quo, then it may be fair to say Nigeria is beyond redemption.

Well said.

Very true. Under Yar Adua, he loomed large as a super influential force from the SS. But he didn't play his politics right. His disregard and downright scorn for the then sitting Vice President Goodluck Jonathan proved to be a terrible political mistake. The moment it became clear that Jonathan would become C-in-C against all odds, Ibori's fate was sealed.
I believe he wanted the VP position ahead of Jonathan but Obj had other plans, I guess

Far better than those that governed Delta before and now. I'm sure your PDP government that privatized the power sector left you with a 24 hours electricity before Fashola came to destroy it. Ode!

How do you expect to achieve progress through mediocrity and bench marking with the worst performers?
Is that what you do in your personal life
Was that how Awolowo made the western region score many firsts in Africa- by bench marking himself with the Premiers of the eastern and northern regions?
What will it take for you to be wise?
Let me help your memory a little bit. grin
