FreeStuffsNG:That's awesome... Adebayo Ogunlesi. BlackRock Inc. agreed to buy Adebayo Ogunlesi’s Global Infrastructure Partners for about $12.5 billion, vaulting the world’s biggest money manager into the top ranks of investors that make long-term bets on energy, transportation and digital infrastructure.. |

Gamesmart:It should. The six founding members are majority shareholders- that means they own over 50% of the firm. If 50% was shared equally between the 6, that would mean each partner holds a 8.33% stake catapulting him to billionaire status. The partners may nor have equal shareholding. The exact shareholding would define his net worth https://www.wsj.com/business/deals/blackrock-to-buy-global-infrastructure-partners-for-12-5-billion-22f8e3d9 |

Irony1:Let me step in here. That's Adebayo Ogunlesi in a picture below with Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State at the site of the Ogun State International Agro Cargo Airport. Both are Ijebu folks (Ijebus are indigenes of Ogun and Lagos States. Ijebuland straddles both sides of the Lagos and Ogun States land borders, with Epe, Ikorodu, Ibeju Lekki LGAs and Ajah being extensions of the larger Ijebuland). It is inconceivable that Bayo Ogunlesi doesn't have investments in Yorubaland like you incorrectly stated here in your attempt to criticize the OP. The Ijebus in the Diaspora and Nigeria have some of the savviest and riches folks among other Yoruba subgroups (such as the Ijesas, the Ondos, the Igbominas, etc) in Yorubaland's history from centuries back, but they are frugal, meaning they don't spend money on frivolities but on profitable businesses that bring in good returns on investment. The Forbes-rated Mike Adenuga, Folorunso Alakija, and Femi Otedola are classic examples of business-savvy Ijebu-Yoruba folks here. Ambassador Antonio Oladeinde Fernandez too had investments back in Nigeria though he was a savvy international business man who operated globally especially with mining investments in Angola and more. He never made a noise about himself.

Konquest:Oga the issue is not about him making noise. Definitely he is making noise and blowing his trumpet just that you don't fit in the audience where he does that. What I don't subscribe to is unnecessary praise singing to someone who doesn't even know your existence in the first place. |

Hotfreezing:When did you hear me say anything about Louis Ojukwu? Try and have sense when you want to put an argument. Why doing praise singing for someone who doesn't even know you exist? |

lordm:Na wah oooo you guys don't have sense. Me bitter haba you can do better than this childish talk from you. There's no bitterness there, you guys are just doing praise singing for someone who has not even impacted your life, let alone acknowledge your existence. |

Irony1:because I don't know you doesn't mean I can't celebrate your success. Stop being bitter. Celebrate others so that when your time comes others will celebrate you |

Irony1:You are clearly deflecting here! You clearly stated incorrectly in your post on page one of this thread that Deinde Fernandez and Adebayo Ogunlesi have NO investments that have impacted Nigeria or Yorubaland and that is why I CORRECTED you by stepping into your convo. As a Diasporan myself with investment ties in Nigeria, I expected you to have just corrected the OP instead of seemingly trying to downplay the fact that these two savvy international businessmen you mentioned have impacted on Nigeria. Period. |

Konquest:How have they impacted Nigeria? They acknowledge them as Nigerian born businessmen, but at the core their loyalty is still to the country where they do business let us stop the deceit. |

lordm:Oga no one is bitter. Yeah you can celebrate, but once again in life know when to stop. There is a difference between celebrating and stupid praise singing. O e is genuine and the other is just hypocrisy and eye service. |

Irony1:You are the dunce here, you don't even know what you are saying. Anybody with a ounce of brain know that Adenuga manages his business himself, there are also a lot of Yoruba heading various departments in his company. If Yoruba men are not good in Business with so many successful Yoruba business men then Igbo men must be very poor in business lol. There are 3 Yoruba in Dangote Executive team not even a single Igbo apart from indians and other nationals. Yoruba dominated Dangote executive team from Nigeria https://www.dangotecement.com/executive-team/ Yoruba may not be good in business but we are certainly better than Igbo in business that always says Yoruba are not good in business even the current CEO of MTN is a Yoruba man and we also dominate the list of most established companies CEO in Nigeria, what about bank and Finance ? we also triumph. |

Elemosho478:You are really a clown, this is a corporate game, you guys cannot run businesses like igbos, moreso that the Igbo entrepreneurship system is being studied by IVY league schools like Havard, that have testified that it is the biggest wealth incubator in the world. Keep being dense you hear. |
