Thank God this is not only platform to follow Super Eagles eh. LOL!

In 2004, two prolific Strikers, Aiyegbeni and Agali and a legendary leftback Babayaro were expelled from Camp for indiscipline, yet we didn't fail to reach Semi-final and went home with bronze medals.

Odewingie saw an opportunity and grabbed it. Utaka saw an opportunity and didn't shy away from it, guess what - both were Wingers.

Icon4s recently reminded folks here to refresh their memory or at best ask their Elders to tell them stories of Eagles at AFCON, but they would rather keep wailing here. LOL!

If JPes still plays 4 - 4 - 2 formation, absence of Boniface, Iheanacho, Sadiq ain't gonna affect the team. In fact, its an opportunity for Iwobi to play 8, behind Osimhen, flanked by Lukman and Chukwueze plus Onyeka and Oyendika double-pivot.

If Chukwueze head not booting well, bring on Simon to replace him. I do not understand folks here to be honest. Competition starts tomorrow but gnashing of teeth full everywhere day and night.
If you look at the analysis of foreign analysts who have been following the various AFCON competitions they will tell you Nigeria are among the favorites.

Shit happens in football, but a team with the abilities will usually rise up to the occasion.
Yes, confidence is low from Nigerian fans due to the current run of form of the team but WE ARE NIGERIA, this is our SUPER EAGLES. Let's keep hopes alive.

....even though I am pro local coach but we need to be careful before handing the job over to an indigenous coach again.

Guess we all have read what Mikel had to say about our African Pep? Una hail am like Pep, Mou and Ancelloti in one body. LOL!

Same Amuneke una dey beg NFF to roll red carpet for and give the job on platter of gold, what has he accomplished that indeed worth celebrating?!

Finidi......?! What qualifies him as right man for the job?! Only local coach I can support is Samson Siaisia but Baba don fûckup well well. He played good football and had legacies to brag with.

He lost on 2 ocassions to a squad [though not all] that later won World Cup again for the Argentina National Team.

Let finidi proves himself with Enyimba and wins the league first.
He won the league last season, He could also win it this season.

John Utaka was actually a striker(he played as a striker for RC Lens, but as a winger for Super Eagles).

If Uzoho can still be called up after denying us a spot in last WC I wonder why Okoye should be exempted

As long as Uzoho is in goal we are done
I have never had such low expectation from the SE as this set
Am not excited to watch their matches cuz of the bunch of clueless coaching staff we parade
This set of SE is going to be a show of individual talent not a team work and this is so sad

I have a feeling Okoye turned down an invitation. Dude Body language doesn't seem as though he is fully committed to the GWG.

My opinion though

What did Waldrum do that you want peseiro to be him?
70% if not more want him to be sacked after the "horrible" AFCON, a few month later after the world cup this set of people were out blaming the NFF for not giving him another contract

From all indications. Considering the injuries to the team & the ball watching nature of our CB's coupled with the confidence issues of the GK. I'll go with 4-2-3-1. Double pivot of Onyeka & Onyedika. That way ill be sure that I have bodies at the back & MF. My opinion tho.
Your opinion is very insightful bro. You are spot on....

352, 433 or 4231... These tactics are ideal and very essential for the team but sadly, there is literally no coach to do justice.

one appearance all season prior to afcon list announcement. He has not even played for us for over a year now. Let him focus on his club career for now. The SE is going nowhere.

Our opponents will use Lesotho and Zim playbook. Simple. Defend in numbers and use Route 1 if opportunity comes.
Our midfield is too thin. Even our much vaunted attacking strength is now depleted due to injuries

Evidently, this AFCON for Nigeria will come down to PRAYERS, other teams pray too

Evidently, this AFCON for Nigeria will come down to HOPE, which is not a strategy in football.

The fear of Super Eagles by other teams is no longer there...now we fear meeting Senegal, etc
I don't know but I often cringe when I see SE players pray at the beginning and end of each half

If a team could reach final after loosing it's first team to plane crash, then nothing stops Nigeria from achieving same or even surpassing it, with just few injuries.

Can Peseiro be another Waldrum? He can. 'Never underestimate a man who is down'.
Peseiro is injured.
Depends on if he feels he's injured. The man is nonchalant.

Some fans here are just shameless.
There are cooking Peseiro but failed to cook eguaveon for the rubbish he did.
They also hail keshi as the next best thing after sliced bread.
These guys act like the Bruce Lee of Nigerian football but in reality they are suffering from selective amnesia. They truly want Nigeria to fail so they can boastfully say, “we told you so”.
SMH. You guys gonna learn soon.
You're free to cook anybody bro... Make sure you sprinkle salt and Maggi. Feel free to cook and cook. I dey your back.

We have Osimhen now! With Osimhen and Onuachu you can't have 18 corners and score just one! That will be a big difference!!
Being tall doesn't mean you are good with headers

Osimhen to Madrid gaining momentum. Will the Spanish supporters want so many non-Spaniards in their team? We shall see! Chelsea offering 80m + 15m add-ons!
heard top Madrid officials wants him instead of Mbappe because he is more of a priority(natural number 9) than the French international in the team
