Dangote has tried for which Nigeria?

D man is a big thief that can't compete in a fair market.

Only thrives on Monopoly.

Look into all the businesses he had competitors and see how he ran away.

He has competitors in every field. There is nothing Dangote does that BUA wont follow. That's his main competitor, plus loads of smaller ones. There is no field where Dangote enjoys an absolute monopoly.

Secondly, Dangote certainly has tried for Nigeria because he could easily have gone the easy route by being an importer but the man manufactures everything he is into locally.

Do you mean you don't know the impact this has on the economy??

Dagote has made monopoly popular like he's the 1st to be given monopoly in Nigeria or in the world. Lol

Monopoly is not illegal or strange it is a market and development strategy.

It's like you're cursed.

How can you defend dangote and the monopolistic and nepotistic favours he enjoys?

How has the monopoly and nepotism enjoyed by dangote benefitted the masses and brought development to Nigeria?

Cement is a classic example. Dangote used his monopoly and nepotism to wipe out competition to the point were Nigerians now pay over 6k for a bag of cement that shouldn't sell for more than 3k.

Dangote ensured the likes of Ibeto Cement never grow his business through backdoor dirty court cases. And he's been doing it to other competitors.

Who suffers in all this? The masses.

So let me ask you again, are you cursed?

A total of 51 companies were told to submit their FX transaction records to the EFCC.

Like Dangote Group correctly stated in a press release this week, this doesn't mean Dangote is guilty of any crime. It's just an investigation and no crime has been committed yet. Enough of the annoying media trials and unfounded criticisms by impressionable people here.

Dangote enjoys a lot of privileges - thanks to Nigerian politicians he finances their campaigns. Given his wealth and level of influence, if Dangote goes down, Nigerian economy is in trouble. That man is now a sacred cow.

The only thing he can do for the EFCC is for the two parties to agree on the specific payment pattern and date he will complete all he owes the country, especially in foreign currency. Together, Emefiele, Buhari and Dangote used our USD to play ping-pong.

Buhari that tinubu brought and dedicated for Nigeria?
Our USD, so Nigeria use USD and not naira again?
Nigerians are hypocrites and cowards.

You will feel and see the impact of work.. if he's truly performing

But what we see is the Naira doing terribly against the dollar..
We see hunger and poverty ravaging the land
we see unemployment rising
we see Nigerians moving away from their fatherland in unprecedented fashion

please don't go to plateau or benue villages to brag about your performing president.. You will be lynched..

Not only Plateau or Benue, there are several villages you will go to in Nigeria where you dare not speak positively of the president. But, the destruction did not just happen in this dispensation.

To assuage the yearnings of the people of Kaduna, Plateau and Benue, he appointed one of their sons as Chief of Defence, that was strategic. The problem of Nigeria is not about the person but the system. As you drag the president on insecurity in Plateau and Benue, you must also drag the current chief of defence staff (times 2).

The bad economy, the insecurity and the corruption have been around with us for quite a while and we can only blame this president if he had not made any attempt to address it. There is a clear difference between policy formulation and implementation.

How is Dangote a monopoly?Do you even know what a monopoly is?

In the pasta business there are over 15-20 variants of pasta in the market producing locally. This is even exclusive of the imported pasta.

In cement, there is BUA,Lafarge, Ibeto etc

In the sugar and salt there are over 10 manufacturers excluding the imported ones.

To say he has monopoly is like comparing him to Nepa and Nitel and Nipost of those days that were the only providers of service in their space.

How has Dangote stopped Ibeto? Do he stop Ibeto from building Cement factory. Ibeto choose the easy model of importing which will make quick revenue but unsustainable in the long run a d subject to a plethora of externalities that even him Ibeto can't control e g FX availability or scarcity of it.

Price competition is a very common strategy hence one manufacturers or seller can decide to reduce price on a product to gain market share and volumes.

Try and desist from your hatred for him

The man is the largest employer of Labour in Nigeria outside of govt.

How do you know that cement shouldn't cost more than 3k. Which production and pricing model do you have to verify and authenticate this. Please share let's see. You people just sit and try anyhow

And what is the outcome of all the noise? That someone will shamelessly come with this sort of reasoning is even more worrisome. Very easy to deceive Nigerians as they are always looking for strong men as leaders.

How about strengthening our institutions to do their job? Is the efcc suppose to need presidential approvals to go after corrupt individuals? That in itself is corruption of the office of the president. How about plugging those leakages so that no one can use their office to manipulate and steal from the public?

This simply mean that they did all that for show... Its all acting with no substance

u better keep quiet. Who doesn't know all this ur rants are because of bigotry and jealously. Do u think k its everybody given monopoly that succeeds?
.
what is the nepotism here? His uncle did it they all started from the bottom from farm produce when none of these was popular or thought to be lucrative then once u here he's the rich man u shout monopoly.

Go to ur region and see people with diffent forms of monopoly and asked if u too are cursed.

The fact u have monopoly does mean u will succeed u must do alot of work, build relationships and play politics.

I can now confirm that you are truly cursed.

For your information, Dangote also imports cements and then rebrands it to his company name. He's able to do this because of nepotism. He is the single largest producer in Nigeria that can walk into CBN and get forex at subsidised rate.

Meanwhile, when last were you able to buy items in USD with your own naira card? You can't because the likes of Dangote need it to get undue advantage over others while remaining the richest man in the poverty capital of the world.

How many of your family members are working in Dangote? Why should Dangote be the largest employer of labour in Nigeria? Is it a good thing Mr Mumu Man? If Dangote folds up today meaning millions of Nigerians will become jobless right? Are you prepared for the insecurity and instability that will follow?

There's a reason why developed countries like USA have very strong antitrust laws. But fools like you in Nigeria are in abundance to defend a monopolist who has been feeding fat on Nigeria's common wealth to remain rich while 90% of the people live in abject poverty.

I pray the day Nigeria's current system of government will be wiped off and the country restructured so that you people will have your own country and allow others with sense have their own country. Dangote will be the first company to be unbundled and sold to many will and capable interests to allow for fair play.

Nigeria is not Dangote's property

I know two people he shutdown their business. One imported a ship load of unpackaged parboiled rice , he made sure the ship was sized while his worfrats sabotage the rice with sea water, another is a Hausa cement marchant , he made sure he lost his capital and assets due to unpaid loans. Am sure you've heard what he did to BUA cement at the early stages . Hope you know he was behind Ibeto cement travails!

You can as well drag the voters who voted Buhari!

Emefiele is the one in the eye of the storm, let him prove his innocence. Let him prove that all the allegations are false. I was in the banking industry in Nigeria for 17 years. I know what round-tripping is and how it's perpetrated. Emefiele has a lot to answer for.
