Yes, let the discipline start from our Citadel of Learning.
It's long overdue.

They are preparing the students for the real world.

Most employers have dress and hair standards. Check out our banks, how many people have you seen there with dreadlocks and funny hair?.

The university is preparing them for the reality. It is only jokers that will start screaming sharia and slavery and so forth

When you start looking for job, you go know why the university is doing what they do.

Many of the top employers, even some professions have dress and hair codes.

Security is not the job of a university

And it is not hypocrisy. The way you young people use that word is getting funny.

The university is getting you for tomorrow when you would be looking for job and that is when they would be judging you on dress and hair.

Even when you get the job, dress codes dey. And in some instances like working in a factory, it is essential for your safety

It does!

Why a university like Covenant is leading them all!

You can call the university a secondary school but its the best in the country!

That university alone is already dominating tech!

covenant is the best not becos of its dress codes but it's investment in academic excellence and infrastructure.

what has mini skit and armless got to do with science or quantum physics?
Re: Benue State Uni Bans Mini-Skirts, Dreadlocks, Armless Shirts, Others by Olaolex: 2:06pm On Jan 14

Wotoporiously cool speaking

Lol, funny enough this won't have an effect on their academic excellence but it's still a welcome development to them.

He had dreads because he is a senior enough lawyer to get away with it.

Most of the lawyers came with reasonable hair styles.

You wont use this comment with a future employer.

Yes!

They do allow mini skirts in Covenant at acceptable length. Not at short lengths that casually exposes thighs are bum!

Why do you think public universities have become headquarters for yahoo fraudsters, cultist and hook-up? Its because morales and ethics don't count there! Yo could get away with 1001 things in public schools but wont try such in Covenant. They are disciplined for excellence. They know the consequences for their actions are grave and very cautious when they try to deviate. Unlike public schools, nothing happen.
