Match we controlled and had the best chance to win but we missed it. GB had only 1 chance throughout the 90+m and scored it.

We had multiple chances, clear cut chances yet we ruined it.

Well...next match we feat.
We are not a good team. Simple

Absolutely. He doesn't miss chances.
Bro that miss was wayward, did not hit the bar, wasn't save by the keeper, not even close to the bar make we even say small thing e for enter. cheesy

I have been saying it, I have never been impressed with Osimhen's performances in the Super Eagles. A player of his Caliber shouldn't be caught offside that number of times and that clear chance, haba. What a miss. This was a game we could have easily won.
We go face CIV.
That miss just drained off all the enthusiasm in my body. I just couldn't look at the TV after that. It was so far off the mark.

You say what? Probably you’re the one with dysgraphia.

The problem with you is accountability. Be responsible for your mistakes and stop throwing useless grammar around. Instead of you to take corrections and apologize for misquoting me you went ahead to insult me...this is crazy grin grin

Technically with ball to feet Osimhen is poor. This shouldn't breaking news to anyone that has watched him play even one game. He is not a Berbatov, João Felix, etc

What makes him one of the best is the combination of his ridiculous work rate, pace, pressing, aerial ability and just hustling. These create goal scoring chances in every game. However, his finishing is average (neither great nor poor). He's most definitely not a Lewandoski, Kane, Benzema or Haaland etc.

He will miss more chances than he scores. He always has...

Iwobi and Aribo are not Midfielders

I have always pointed out they can't hold our midfield. Prayers and good wishes cant save us here...I never for one day rated those English rejects

See Hassan and chukwueze one on one with keeper, I was expecting them to shot just like aina did, they went for a pass. This players can frustrate

Succinctly put,ma G. His technical abilities are average but he makes up for it in other areas

COOL10:

Iwobi was excellent in the midfield today. He gave about two defense-splitting passes to Osimhen and another wonderful pass to Sanusi. He should have had up to three/four assists in this game.

Unfortunately for him, Osimhen forgot his goalscoring boots at home.

How many key passes did he make to his forwards? Too lazy to mark, press or pursue the ball. Gets lost in midfield. Easily gases out.

It will be tough against Ivory Coast but the super eagles will play better.

I really hope Alhassan’s injury isn’t a serious one.

Funny enough this game could have ended 5-1…
Though I was really pessimistic about our chances before the game, I think this team need to just score their chances and grow more confident, we might we might just have something…

Al Hass did well but our midfield became more creative with Aribo’s inclusion

My worst players were Simon, Onyeka and zaidu

I pray Al Hass injury won’t keep him out for our next game
Simon is a huge minus

A grown man in his 40's shouldn't be this emotional and erratic like you. You have been attacking Nwakali for over 5yrs and he doesn't even know you. You are a me.n.ta.ll.y der. an.ge.d human
He doesn't attack Nwakali. He attacks the hype and justifiably so. Cos though I have repeatedly said Nwakali should be invited so we judge from his performance, the way some people praise him to high heavens like he's Zidane certainly makes others to raise eyebrows.

I just told you that he created at least three goalscoring chances for his teammates, which they all missed. What else do you want from a CAM?

The number one job of a CAM is to create chances for his teammates, and that's exactly what Iwobi did.

If his teammates had scored, by now, we would have been praising him for his assists. The problem was not Iwobi; the problem was his teammates( Osimhen and co) who failed to score the chances he created for them. Iwobi did well.

iwobi came to life when Aribo was subbed in. I think both understand their selves better

I believe with more games together Iwobi will adapt to playing with Al Hass
Iwobi was already stringing and sending in splitting passes before Aribo came in.

Not a bad game.

Sometimes first match dey be like that.

Kindly judge us against ivory coast. Na then, make we know what's up.

Impressed with Lukman, Nwabili, yusuff, iwobi.

Just there, are
Osimhen-- can do better, definitely.
Semi- I like his height.
Sanusi - Aboki-ball.

Over reliance on a sole striker caused us this game. Why should the wingers be passing to a Striker all the time?
Why didn't Chukwueze shoot when he had the opportunity? And on that still gave a wrong pass to Osimhen!
This shows lack of confidence and this is the driving force Why they loose focus on the final third. Except for players like Lookman and Boniface who can't play SS to any Striker because they too aim for the goal also, you can call it selfish but it builds there confidence and this also makes them lead roles in their respective clubs. That's the reason why it's hard for them to partner Osimhen.
The coach should allow players to take opportunities if they are in the position to do so otherwise the opportunity will capitalize on your target and kill off that player with every opportunity.

I'm tired of SE, they keep disappointing and we the fans keep expecting some kind of magic in their next match. Just like some say our lack of winning matches before this tournament doesn't matter. Nigeria is a tournament team blah blah blah. Moses abi lookman will turn ronaldo once dy get to Afcon.
This is just my sentiments. SE is the last thread that binds me to football. Club football doesn't excite me at all. I follow the news about it generally but I don't watch it.

So when SE underperforms, it galls. Over 5 matches ago since we last tasted victory

The pressure is much on Osimhen
Why play a lone striker when we have so many attacko option

That is a system that needs to be improved upon. I for one enjoyed the match cos I could at least see that we were not over run in the middle of the park. We took the game easy while sloppy passes were still visible. We did well. We just need to take our chances. We might not be so lucky in other games as a chance taken is what makes the difference. All it takes to win afcon is 1 nil in all games

his performance in the UCL paved way for him to the super eagles team for the afcon. He didn’t get into the team based on hype and stats posted here 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Antwerp is a top team in Belgium and playing in European club competitions open doors for players to better and bigger fortunes

I want to ask.... hope our medical team sabi dia job this time? They gave me ptsd of World cup qualifiers of last two campaigns and that stuff still pisses me off till date. Hope they know the job?

Like do they know what they're doing or na connect get them the spots? We should pass that level by now. The 1st reaction to Yusuf issue was not convincing.
