I told my girl this. May we never be victims of those who want to marry us not because of love but because of condition. I can't marry a wife that will be reminiscing on how her ex would have been her first choice but he's not ready or he's too far bla bla bla... I will now be the option. God forbid!! Before I marry you I make sure u want to want to marry me under all circumstances. I can't dedicate my life for someone who sees me as "the one that's available "

the problem is that most of us marry for the wrong reasons. For most we just marry for economic and social contract. If you remove these two, most people will not be married. If we aren't besties first, why should we get married in the first place

I guess the op is probably a female because of the way she immediately shifted it to the families of the lady saying they arranged the marriage for her and neglecting the fact that the said lady actually spent her youth like a prostitute, forming boss b!tch, ignoring and manipulating the good men, while wasting her youth with the bad ones.. then later when reality has started dawning on her, she starts looking for the mugu man who will save her and accept her whorish life as she is....

it's just the typical story of the modern woman...

Whenever I become a second option, don't choose me.

The above have been my motivation. I don't want to be the available option or the back up plan for any woman who didn't achieved her fantasy.

I can never be married to someone who don't love me, I am a King, a prize, I can't settle for less, I can't marry unproductive, unreasonable and lackadaisical lady because I want to be married.
