mostly likely the kidnappers use the victim phones. you can only reduce this by going cashless (over 50k payment) , making it impossible to pay cash into another person account. you would get the kidnappers at the point of spending the money. they would not be able to prove how they legitimately earned the money. |

Brendaniel: And where on earth did you get the impression he never discussed with the security agencies? Were you in all their meetings? He simply said they don't use it; how does that enable your tragically flawed inference that he never discussed it with them? And yes, the Minister of Aviation CAN shut down civil aviation WITHOUT discussing with the airforce, because the airforce is a military agency and has nothing to do with civil aviation. Seriously, you're a dunce. |

Neoteny7: Oga, it is clear you don't know how governance works, that it why you people select people like Buhari and Tinubu that pick people Pantami and Buratai who work without direction.... Have you heard of no flight zone before? So you are saying a minister can declare a no flight zone without discussing with the air force? |

Bobloco:bแปฅt he's very right. He cannot do his job and still do that of the police. NIN of well utilize will crime in the bud, at least if not immediately, but in the long run. |

money121:everything is not about criticism. In as much Buhari failed, but the NIN policy to sim card was a good policy if well utilised. Pantami will not do the work of the police. |

TimeManager:if call can go through in the forest whr the victims are kept, what is the essence of GPS? So they can't track a simple call location? Why are we now budgeting billions annually for the police and its infrastructure? Nigeria is just a pity country. |

Akwamkpuruamu:God bless you. Everything Nigeria is just upside down. We make everything seem so difficult. In 21st century, catching a kidnapper is as easy as ABC for a serious country. |

udemzyudex:a serious country fighting crime knows what to do. This is simple intelligence. Once a victim is kidnaped, it's normal these people will want to get in touch with the families. What happened to call tapping of all involved? |

Brendaniel: You're more obtuse than i thought. No-fly zones are military exclusion areas patrolled by either fighter aircraft or enforced by anti air munitions. Grounding civilian aircraft is NOT enforcing a NFZ. Two different things. Who sends NOTAMs, civilians or military? Educate yourself first before coming here to embarrass yourself. |

Re: Pantami Accuses Security Agencies Of Not Using NIN-SIM Policy To Track Criminals by Brendaniel: 7:57pm On Jan 15 |
Neoteny7: Oga shut up, no fly zone can be enforced in the entire country not just military zone, it covers both civilian aircrafts and military aircrafts, presently Niger put a no fly zone on all aircratlfts coming to Nigeria, that is done by their country's airspace management which is still under the ministry of aviation if they have one and enforced by the air force. Educate yourself Oga, no ministry works stand alone when it comes to national security, they must work with the military... And you are here justifying Pantami about not collaborating with the military on a project that has to do with national security... You are the joker here.... |

VeeVeeMyLuv:he went about it the wrong way. The implementation was not properly executed. This kind of policy should be implemented in at least a year informing people in advance, gradually reducing the money in circulation and making alternate payments systems widely available with ease of use. 1 Like |
