My bestie (f) is asking me (m) out..

I'm currently not in a relationship and never had plans for any. I once had a crush on her even before we became friends...but had to let go cuz of the person she was going out with. Later when we became friends, we share lots of things together, support and comfort each other when needed. I took her as a normal friend and killed the initial feelings completely. But rn, babe say I'm the only one that can give her the peace of mind she's looking for after she's bn through a lot.
I'm not in for any relationship shit at the moment and wouldn't want to hurt her, cuz any involvement between me and any girl at this time is just bedmatics.

Don't ever presume to give another person peace of mind. You can only support someone to achieve that peace of mind. Peace is a resolution from within. When she thinks you owe her peace of mind, and you get busy later, the blackmail game will be activated.

I understand your position, I have female friends that are expecting such from me, they are always dear, love, sweetheart and all that. I don't want to end our friendship on sour note, so I ignored. I know I am not getting married soon.

It's only one police girl, she told me she understood what she is doing, because I told her she can't get any relationship from me but we can get intimate and she agreed on that terms.
