I never hear from DSS. Are they still dancing makossa?

You can't give what you don't have.
Solving kidnapping requires intelligence. We have dumb people incharge of security in this country.

There is nothing like intelligence there, Nigerian security forces are very intelligent and smart.
They just need the political will to work without being influenced.
I don't think those kidnappers are fellow Nigerians? They act with great animosity towards a fellow man.
They are just wild animals.

God please make a way for me to leave this country 🙏🏻
I was like this when I passed one terrible and horrible road in Imo where I went to write TOEFL. While on the road, I silently whispered to myself "God, please make it possible for me to leave this country".

Work on it and plan assiduously, and it will happen.

Best wishes!

Total nonsense!

Scores of people were butchered in Plateau even when the location was close to a security post. You have an elite paying $60K on the Internet to the same kidnappers, and you put out the bold?!

Oh Please! You lots, both supporters and politicians, are NOT intelligent!

So bandits were busy calling, and the triangulation of the call could not be checked? Haha...naija security, this is an embarrassing situation!

Lagos State is a small and fully-built-up city. You cannot kidnap someone and run into a forest because there's no forest anywhere in Lagos... except you leave the state or go towards Epe.

You cannot even rob a bank and successfully run away because you will be caught up in a traffic gridlock. Those who successfully robbed banks in Lagos in 2015 escaped only through the waterways.

High-level organised crimes and kidnap don't happen in Lagos due those cogent reasons. It has nothing to do with street boys aka agbero because those ones are not any different from criminals.
Lagos sits straddling a lagoon that is plied by all manner of speedboats, so kidnapping anywhere within a few blocks of the waterfront CAN and DOES occur in Lagos, after which the victims are spirited away aboard speedboats to the numerous remote and inaccessible forested islands that separate the Lagos/Epe Lagoon from the Atlantic Ocean shoreline.

It seems you don't understand me. The security forces are capable but due to political influences, they tend not to work.
For example if the police mean business, it doesn't take them few days to get to the root of any issue.

Smh. It's sad politics has turned people to this, very very sad.
1. You don't know who they voted for, you can't simply generalize based on tribe that a person voted for X or Y person.
2. Even if they voted for someone you disagree with, at the end of the day, especially for anyone who is a Christian, it's sheer wickedness to turn discussions like this to a question of politics. In that case, Jesus should have rained thunder on those who crucified Him.
We can do better.

Them Kidnappers are not using their phones, they are using the victim's phones.

In such a case NIN won't help.

NIN linkage was meant to work if the kidnapper used their own phone for communication. Most kidnappers bypass that by using the victim's phone, or in areas near the border, using phones of non Nigerian GSM companies.

Tracking the phone can be done sans NIN...but the problem is, the kidnapper making the call may not be in the same area as the victims. Also, some areas do not have network. Tracking won't work.
Even if they are using the victim's phone, the calls can be tracked to a particular location and they can be fished out.

The REAL issue is that there are some people sympathetic to the Bandits and the FG, for whatever reason is unwilling to arrest these people.

If these Bandits move across the border to Niger Rep and try these madness, they will be arrested and killed within one month because the environment is not receptive to their activities.

About 80% of all crimes are motivated by monetary rewards and if Gov't track the flow of monies in Nigeria, so many criminal gangs will be discovered without firing a shot. There are many computer softwares that can study and analysize financial transactions in every State in the last six months and you will see the pattern starring at you with koro-koro eyes.

The kidnappers won't eat the money, they will spend them. We can track the the flow of money into every account, study the pattern and the people behind these accounts. We can get their addresses, all companies and transactions linked to them can be traced. Illegal activities always leave cues.

The Nigeria police should be ashamed of themselves. This is happening in a country like this. When it's not like as if we are in Mexico or Columbia.

What is the difference

Kidnappers have now become so brazen and our police have absolutely zero intelligence on tracking them. They don't even know where the are, they don't know how much fire power these kidnappers have. This kindapping in Nigeria has some politics underhand to it. Who supplies these guys with ammunition? How have they become so emboldened that they do not fear our police anymore. Like this is a scourge threatening to disintegrate Nigeria completely if care is not taken. Now Kidnapping has become a very lucrative business in Nigeria, even better than armed robbery. It's so sad that Nigeria is tearing apart slowly and everyone will open their eyes and look while we doo nothing. Afterall everyone is kuku running away, that's all we do, we run away from problems in Nigeria.
