Are u kidding me? Daniel Amokachi has been top class. His analysis are on point and he gives insight that only someone like him can give. We are lucky to have such a legend in the booth doing commentary. Plus I loved the part he corrected his cohost on pronouncing Aina. Dude kept on saying Ain-i grin

I don’t know why few are complaining about his commentary yesterday

He did decently well and miles better than Ikpeba

What I love most was his confidence that the super eagles will win the game even before it started

Also I noticed whenever the white commentator tries to talk down on the super eagles Amo reminds him that we are Nigeria and that the super eagles shouldn’t be taken for granted. Also he hinted that super eagles are always at their best whenever they face tough oppositions

He even boasted that the CIV he saw against GB can’t beat the super eagles

In our first game against EG Amo said he rates Aina highly and that Forrest man is one player he believes that is yet to play to his full potentials. That if Aina can give more that he will be one of the best RBs in Africa

He also was full of praise for Aina yesterday against CIV and many times reminded the other commentator how good Aina was in that game

Amokachi should realize that, as a commentator, he has to be neutral and unbiased. The amount of time that he openly wished that Nigeria defeated Ivory Coast was nauseating. How can you be saying “today is the day Nigeria will break that jinx” as a commentator? Nigga you’re supposed to be neutral and keep your personal feelings to yourself
.

That's why the don't get jobs. Like our referees don't get FIFA and CAF jobs same reason our ex footballers don't often get called and invited. Barring J.J Okocha and Sunday Oliseh I have hardly seen any ex player commentator who has impressed me.

There is no record where God anoint a man to work against his own nation.

There are many other ways to display your elfism and your superfluous trolling, than dragging God's name into it.

What Blueelf does is really infuriating. Thing is that he can point out the exaggerated estimation people have regarding the team and that's fine but to gloat and mock your fellow compatriots when they are seething from a loss is downright insensitive and to continue doing it against the general sentiment of this thread is just childishness.

I go do am so that make e pain una. That's his idea.

What he means if I'm not mistaken is Osimhen's movement on the pitch when the ball is not with him at that moment, i.e. his runs, walking steps and holding defenders or covering spaces. Not when he's outside the pitch entirely.

Exactly. The other commentator has even slowly become a believer because everything Amokachi said has come to pass. It would have been very easy to go along and say Ivory Coast were favourites but he called them out and rightly so

Yes, he's been lavish in his praise for Aina and lookman. I think Amokachi is a sanguine cos his outlook is positive. If he becomes a coach, his players will receive lots of motivation and praises. Lots of ginger.

Nigeria should continue with the 3-4-3 formation against GNB so that they can get used to it for the knock out stages.

this thread suppose be
1. strictly super eagles die hard fans/deep core loyalists
2. constructive and understanding critique of the eagles
3. pessimists that still manage some how to care about the team(they are free to lower their expectations but then show happiness when the team wins)
4. lash the team when they play rubbish and suggest best way forwards for the team.
we dont need some kind daft headed troll forming to be catching cruise and playing with people’s emotion electronically…social media is a tool used to spite hate and violence.
i will even tolerate a Ghanaian, South African, Cameroonian coming to shade us than seeing a blooded Nigeria acting as a cankerworm

“It was a very physical match; Nigeria chose to play very low with a
five-man defense to exploit counterattacks with their star striker. It
was a tightly contested match. We didn’t give the impression of
being able to compete physically. It was because of Nigeria’s best
player ( Osimhen) that we lost”, Gasset said at the post match
conference.

Copied:::::

You don't have to blame the midfield in yesterday game,we played with only two midfielders, onyeka and iwobi, and they were trying to protect the defence that's why iwobi played deeper to support onyeka. The wingers didn't understand the formation, they suppose to play infield to support the striker while our full backs overlap,(that's playing as wingers when we attack) but they didn't do that. I think they will do better in our next match with proper practice if we are to use the same formation again.
👍👍👍
