scoring Mauritius and kudus kinda goal is more important than qualifying Abi?

So if not for Ekong’s goal via penalty you would hv encouraged our forwards to be selfish just to score Mauritius kinda goal instead laying a pass for an easier finish when the team needs to win abi?
scoring Mauritania and kudus kinda goal will make Nigeria win matches and qualify to the next stage. Against EG at some point in the game fans expected yusuf to be selfish and go for goal instead of trying to pass the ball.

Off the post.
Another banger.

Malians on the beat 🎶
And Sadiq starts for Sociedad. NFF really needs an inquest on those team doctors. How much were they paid for this sabotage

Tunisia using over 30 passes to unlock that Mali rearguard.

Why do our players like to glory hunt? Why!!!

Look at that break with Osayi. All he needed to do was to pick out Aina and open up for the return pass. If I were the coach, he will not play again until he knows he's playing for the national team not for Bright Osayi. Such conduct should be met with stiff punishment
that selfishness is the reason we had just 1 shot on target the whole game.

My punting has been on point tho, no single AFCON game cut any of my tickets and I don bet on 60% of all the past fixtures. I even picked Nigeria to win when betting site still gave us 4.10 odds to win and Côte D'Ivoire 1.98 odds cool

I know say many people go don cry sha 🤣
No way Tunisia and Ghana didn't take you to village.

Funny thing Mali outplaying the Arabs.

Tunisia did that thing Luis Enrique teams do where they pass aimlessly across the backline and this lured Mali into the press.

3 passes from their half, and Tunisia were already in Mali box. Goal.

It's horrible. It's actually the culture of street football in Nigeria where you play to shine and earn plaudits rather than play for the team.

Nwabali

Okoye

Uzoho / Okonkwo Arthur

Just remembered something. Heard Da Bull during the commentary when he said that Today is the day team SE will break the 'jink' jinx of winning CIV @ home. And also winning a game wearing this white jersey. It got me scratching my head tho. Does it mean we have not won any game with this white jerseyhuh
the statistics against the white jersey is very poor.
At some point, I felt the player do not intend to get it stained hence their classy display that do lead to defeat

I don't see it as glory hunting. We have no evidence of our players looking for the spotlight.

Na we de say we should have other scoring outlet asides VO.

Instead Osayi for example could have taken a shot [at the right time] like Kudus and this Mauritian guys. I think the problem here is decision making
Na glory hunting dey behind the wrong decision making. You know our football culture here na. If it were Iwobi I am certain he'd have passed the ball.

Moments like that are key. We miss them in crucial games, we will regret oo.

Wait until chukweze dribbles 3 defenders and keeper then tries to dribble another defender and lost the ball in the process.

the coach really need to address that
I swear. We won so we are not too loud on that jaguda football he played. We for lose or draw, him for hear am. It's infuriating. See our friendly match with Argentina. It was swift counter attacks. One two. Kpom

If we are going to deploy this 3-4-3 our players must be completely unselfish. It's better you pass and it's blocked or you shoot, Gk save am, than to dribble till ball die for your leg.

Oga decision making is what I'm talking about.

If na pass, release it at the right time. If na shot time it well.

No be everything be selfish. It is poor decision making
U sabi the game wella...decision making the focal point not Mauritania as a team.

BascoVanVeli watch at the 22 minutes mark where Charles Anazodo and every other person in the studio say that Amokachi and Akpeyi didn't pronounce Aina's name properly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZrbf6r_xn4?si=xqOrzv05-OdLqHHv
So where was Ain-i said? They said it is pronounced A-i-nor. Well I have been pronouncing it the way they complained about for years and nobody has ever complained about it or corrected me. Plus they call him A-i-na in Europe and not one person cried out.

It is honestly a shame that someone who is supposed to be showing Amokachi and Akpeyi the ropes is coming out to spew this crap. That's some real buster stuff and that just let's me know those 2 are doing something right

They dominated from start to finish but play was disjointed at the middle and the attackers were predictable. Some of them just selfish.

Everyone knows Burundi had no chance in the first place even before the game.
