I thought I saw it all with Algeria vs Burkina Faso, I no know say Mauritania go give me plenty vibes like this If I was in the stadium, my match ticket expired with that first-half display, I suppose pay extra for the second half.
Its bang bang bang football. Siasia and Pitso should be managing at this level.
3-2 now
Hahaha

Ironically only naija parked the bus when we realized that our attack is not as sharp as we thought.
Really?
I'm surprised you're saying this.
That was the best tactics to maneuver their robost midfield.

What kind of football did CAF commission for this tournament? Is it the jabulani? The speed of the games are breathtaking and the goals are flying in like crazy.
Pure madness here

I just joined the match at 2-2.

Saw that rocket from Angola.

Caf president will be proud so far with the way things are going.

All matches be like pay per view.

Delicious.

Fact bro, all facts. Wilfred Zaha has never scored 20 goals in any season of his career.

In his best Season he Totalled 14 Epl Goals. He has never gone past 15 Goals in any season whatsoever.

With over 12-13 years in the Epl, spawning over 305 matches, he returned a paltry 68 goals with only a FA Community shield as his MAJOR HONOURS. For comparison sake Kelechi iheanacho had 196 EpL matches. 48 EPL goals and 28 assist. FA cup winner 2021. League cup 2016. Super cup winner 2022.

😳😳

Like bro eehn i no understand some people sha…im sure if CIV was leading 1-0 that day, they will all fall back and park d bus..cos peseiro will throw every of our attacking arsenals at them…people should understand that when a team is losing (esp african teams) the losing team will come out at you irrespective of the winning side pedigree…cameroon started mounting pressure on the defending champion to get an equalizer before senegal broke into a counter to seal the game…una don yab coach tire like mad, he come manage take a lead against host nation/one of africa’s big side and you say make he no play with cautionary defensive game?

He is Bro...you can't compare him to Moffi when it comes to pace and physique tailored for africa football.

Against Ivory coast moffi would've been a better replacement most especially in situations when you're playing a countet attacking football
pace yes but physique is Onuachu strength

Why do our players like to glory hunt? Why!!!

Look at that break with Osayi. All he needed to do was to pick out Aina and open up for the return pass. If I were the coach, he will not play again until he knows he's playing for the national team not for Bright Osayi. Such conduct should be met with stiff punishment

He played for more than 56 mins in 2019 AFCON and was ineffective(couldn't get us a goal).Back then he was the top scorer of the Belgian Jupiter League.Ighalo came in and scored in less than 20mins.

Onuachu has only one goal since his Super Eagles debut and you want him to start?
i am not interested in 2019 i am saying Onuachu is not the slowest of players and no I don't what he to start

I don't see it as glory hunting. We have no evidence of our players looking for the spotlight.

Na we de say we should have other scoring outlet asides VO.

Instead Osayi for example could have taken a shot [at the right time] like Kudus and this Mauritian guys. I think the problem here is decision making

scoring Mauritius and kudus kinda goal is more important than qualifying Abi?

So if not for Ekong’s goal via penalty you would hv encouraged our forwards to be selfish just to score Mauritius kinda goal instead laying a pass for an easier finish when the team needs to win abi?

This year's AFCOn is different. There is a level of discipline and self belief in all the teams. Hmm to qualify for world cup for Africa this time will be something else.

Oga decision making is what I'm talking about.

If na pass, release it at the right time. If na shot time it well.

No be everything be selfish. It is poor decision making

Just remembered something. Heard Da Bull during the commentary when he said that Today is the day team SE will break the 'jink' jinx of winning CIV @ home. And also winning a game wearing this white jersey. It got me scratching my head tho. Does it mean we have not won any game with this white jersey

This AFCON gotta be hell for the punting, betting brothers.
My punting has been on point tho, no single AFCON game cut any of my tickets and I don bet on 60% of all the past fixtures. I even picked Nigeria to win when betting site still gave us 4.10 odds to win and Côte D'Ivoire 1.98 odds cool

I know say many people go don cry sha 🤣
