Let's start with some heartbreaking stats:

A. 90,000 Schoolgirls Aged 10 To 19 Fall Pregnant In 2023 - South African Minister of Social Development, Lindiwe Zulu

B. 3 in 10 teen American girls will get pregnant at least once before age 20. That's nearly 750,000 teen pregnancies every year. Parenthood is the leading reason that teen girls drop out of school. More than 50% of teen mothers never graduate from high school.

C. According to the World Health Organization, nearly 12 million girls aged 15–19 years and at least 777,000 girls under 15 years give birth each year, with at least 10 million unintended pregnancies occurring each year among adolescent girls aged 15–19 years in the developing world.

Let's stop here.

We know immorality has been around even many years before now, but we have to admit that it is currently on the increase. Also, various factors could be held responsible, including media, peer pressure, failed parenting, the rise in perverted adults who are taking advantage of the unmastered hormones of these young ones, etc.

One of the things we should always remember is that the devil is always interested in young people (of course, for evil purposes) and he targets places where there is a reasonable amount of young people, like schools. This is one of the reasons darkness is strong in many secondary schools today, and one of the implications is a high rate of immorality among young students.

However, the solution is God's Word. We must teach these young folks the truth of God's word. Inherent in the word of God is the fear of God. Once a young chap can have and keep the fear of God, like Joseph, they will easily be constrained to live righteously irrespective of where they find themselves.

Kingdom-minded Christians, who are ordained as light by the Lord Jesus, must rise and be proactive in tutoring the world and the people on the pathway of God's perfect Will. Believers, who are light and salt of the earth, should teach the parents of this world proper parenting; they should have direct interactions with the young folks of the society and disciple them unto righteousness; we should become major stakeholders in the media space and ensure the media won't corrupt youngsters again; we should infiltrate influential societal positions and enact laws and policies that protect these young ones from sexual predators; etc.

Finally, the so-called sex education being taught at many climes (where the young ones are given the option of using contraceptives for sexual acts) should be revamped. Rather, we should teach them abstinence sexual education, where they are granted wisdom to practice sexual purity and avoid all kinds of sexual immorality.

We have to inculcate the fear of God in these youngsters, which is possible via vehement exposure to God's word. So, for instance, they will see from God's Word that all forms of sexual pleasure must only be shared between a married husband and his female wife inside the safe confines of their marriage institution, with no other party involved. They will also be tutored to create the right structures where it will be difficult to go beyond boundaries, and we will disciple them to learn how to control their healthy sexual urges.

Before condom was introduced in Nigeria, young boys and young girls abstained from sex not for religious reasons but because of fear. Girls were afraid because their parents told them they would become pregnant once they are touched by a man. Boys abstained from sex because their parents told them that once they touch a girl she would be pregnant. The fear of contracting sexually-transmitted diseases was another thing that kept children away from sexual activities then. But immediately condom came and children discovered that they can get away with underage sex, sexual activities began to thrive among children in Nigeria.

It is also wrong to blame social media and movies. Social media platforms don't supply themselves contents and movies don't create themselves. Adults create and release those contents. If social media should be blamed, why are you using the same social media to preach the gospel and tackle societal problems?

Keeping the tools away from them is more effective than trying to change their minds when they have the tools.

The children are not to blame, the society and parents have failed them.

The contents they watch and the people they make their role models too has a lot to do with their actions.

Our celebrities now release sex tapes in batches,yet top companies instead of canceling them,they reward them with endorsements.

The parents are mostly at fault, imagine allowing your daughter to dress anyhow all in the name of being 'woke'

It is what I referred to as moral decadence in our society today. They see from the internet and what happened around them.

They’re fast to learn, even with strict supervision and iron handling from their parents, some children still engage in sexual activities when in school or their parents yet to return from work.

The digital age makes it easier. When I was in secondary school, the only social media was hi5. Only a few of us had it. It certainly made me more confident in approaching my mate for discreet nacks. NowAdays, especially with advent of internet, and social media, it's more difficult lying to kids as most 
understand use of internet, and social media much more than their elders.

Even God himself can not believe the rate at which little secondary students have sex now...even primary students are not exempted...
