All these ones na still assumptions. Uzoho could have been there and we could be on 6 points as well. Mine too is another assumption. So let's stop all this capping.
Why aren't we on 6points at the world cup qualifiers?

Those with TheSuperNerd's contact, I hope all is well with that guy? This is unlike him.

Due to concerns raised due to the absence of our Smart and favourite Doctor, TheSuperNerd, I reached out to him and this is the reply he sent me.

Good morning My Top top man, TheGoodJoe

I agree it is unexpected that I will miss out on the afcon drama but trust me, I have been keenly following our every game and also keeping tabs on the other teams in the midst of my very tight schedule this period.

I am actually locked in a lot of office work for now and prepping for my residency. So I am super occupied. But I will be back.

At least Peseiro decided to borrow a leaf from our critique and play a 3 man midfield that also had the midfield sultan, Alhassan. I was delighted with our plays in the first game but miffed with our profligacy. The second game, we showed immense tactical defensive discipline to beat the Hosts. I am happy so far but we need more from Osimhen and from the midfield. Thank God we have Alhassan... I can't wait to see him come back for the third game. He is everything I envisioned he will be in GWG. Imagine Kelechi Nwakali in this team. OMG.

So please... Tell the guys, I will join them late. They should kindly bear with me. Even on Twitter, I have not have the chance. It is my schedule at the moment.

Thanks for checking up My Top Man. You are always a brother. My greetings to you and your family and to our NL sports family.

By sentiment or by facts❓

facts and u re the one been too emotional and sentimental towards tella and other English born players

Tella should be Musa heir when the latter retires and by no means will battle for shirt with iheanacho. Tella hv the likes of Mola,Chukwueze and Simon to battle for a starters shirt with not iheanacho

Try dey minimize ur capping cus it’s getting too much and loud

I am surprised you are following the super eagles games in Ivory Coast cus I remember you were grumbling that u won’t watch their games since they didn’t pick Tim Irogbunam for the competition 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Uzoho was the reason we didn’t qualify for the world. I remember in that game Ghana never had any clear cut chance
Why Maduka no gree engage in super eagles activities ever since ?
Didn’t know fans can damage players mentally
So players psyche dey off lol
Sometimes fans shouldn’t be too harsh
Those days fans go threaten kidnap your family or burn down your house lol
Not a joking matter lol

Bro e no easy ooooo, not all player hv that mental strength to withstand abuse by fans

It took the lad time to overcome the abuse he got from Nigerians which even cost him his place at watford

I kinda feel that players born and bred here are stronger mentally to face such abuse when compared to their mates raised in europe

I’m glad the lad made the best decision for his career by putting his national team career on hold just to get back to his best which is already working out for him in Italy

Why aren't we on 6points at the world cup qualifiers?

There are a plethora of reasons. But of course these are no justification. Take for instance, the timing of our games, how many days it took for us to train and play, managerial deficiencies, player errors etc. But all these are excuses in the long run. One thing I know is that going forward, we will get better with the manager's knowledge of his team having spent a month with the players(hoping we get to the finals of the AFCON) this helps create a better structure for our team in the qualifiers. I know by then you'd believe in the team again, more importantly, you will believe that we are capable of topping the group despite our poor start.

that’s not the issue, Europeans don wake up and do whatever it takes to keep the brightest dual citizen players

It’s is common practice in even top European footballing nations for over 5 years now. The module is to stockpile them and monitor their progression and the best talented ones who made it to top level football are incorporated to their snr teams

This is the very reason I suggest the nff should be proactive in getting them when they re yet to hit stardom just the way North African countries hv been going about it

I am also in support of getting this kids for the super eagles but em own him dey over emphasize on it by making those raised here look bad and less talented

I see nothing wrong for the nff to reach out to Tim and others just to integrate them to the national team for future purposes but it’s doesn’t mk sense painting the ones groomed here bad just to make his case

Tim isn’t even a regular at villa and likely to be shipped out on loan to the championship before the end of the winter window but if you aren’t an ardent follower of the epl u will think the lad is the second coming of pogba based on komenk posts about him 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We don’t want any more excuses o
Especially in the knockout stages
Fingers crossed: Egypt, Morocco & Senegal

How many of Iheanacho & Osimhen’s u17 teammates graduated into the super eagles
Rare to find them
Hopefully some got good deals in Europe and are doing well.

I only remember Alampasu & the Nigerian guy in Udinese

I believe he has learnt his lessons. Initially he was hell bent on deploying an attacking formation just to impress his employers and fans in general but forgot that the most important thing is getting good results because no one will remember how fancy his team played but what he achieved

The likes of Morocco and Ghana didn’t make it to the semi and quarter finals of the World Cup by playing pretty. What matters most his having a compact defense and midfield, I won’t say attack because naturally we hv that in abundance currently

He was too obsessed with attacking talents he met when he took over and was tempted to field almost half in his starting 11 to the detriment of the midfield and defense

442 formation in football is the easiest to curtail. All u need is to hv a compact defense, more bodies in midfield and hit them on the counter. The very reason it is outdated in modern football. Once u cage the midfielders who will supply balls to the attackers to score it’s done

The attack can only function when it’s well fed mostly from the midfield and if u succeed it cutting off the supply the attack will be useless

all mustn’t make it to the national team. It’s the same in other countries that had successful youth teams

Also u forgot that 30% of super eagles current players were produced by our u20 and u17 teams. Players like omeruo, iheanacho, osimhen, boniface, awoniyi, ndidi, uzoho, musa, success,Akor Adams, Igoh ogbu, chukwueze, etc passed through our cadet teams

the way una dey talk sometimes baffles me. Which one be he no wan come? And if he decides to be away from the national team for a certain period in other to get his confidence back as well as work hard to earn a starters shirt in his club whats wrong with that?

Or are u blind to see that his decision is already working out for him by becoming udinese’s first choice recently?

Uzoho that hv committed worst blunder in the national team don’t even hv the balls to make such decision so Mk una free Okoye
