A woman has shared the injuries allegedly inflicted on her friend by the husband in Lagos.

The husband reportedly beat up his wife because she went to borrow pencil to help with their daughter’s assignment.

The act angered the husband and he asked his wife if she couldn’t buy a pencil for their child.

The wife said, in chats shared with her friend, that when she tried to explain to her husabnd, he attacked her.

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has reached out to the friend on Twitter to intervene in the domestic violence case.

Pencil is the scapegoat here.

The undercurrent may have been brewing silently for probably some days and only manifested with pencil.

Some of us can be childish eh!

I can understand the husbands anger, but he went too far. Why go borrowing even some ish you can afford? I don't subscribe to that. Back in Nigeria my wife even borrow out my pressing iron. The one that annoyed me most is borrowing out my first aid box to her friend. I mean why borrow something you can easily buy and put in your house? Pencil for that matter? Some even come and borrow maggi, pepper, onions, salt and red oil, as if they will bring it back.lol. I mean how would the person you went to borrow such rate you? It's very condescending. You are just being a nuisance.

Not supporting the violence aspect of this, but it wasn't the pencil per say. Its the borrowing aspect of it. Some neighbours will make mockery of him out of this as if he cannot afford an ordinary pencil that would warrant the wife going to borrow.

bros i didn't say cheating was the main reason for this battering.. i am only saying what is attributed to Married WOMAN BLEACHING, obviously not first time she is receiving such maltreatments.
