Can’t we play 3 - 5 - 2
Moffi & Ademola up front
Iheanacho just right behind them like Jude Bellingham position in Real Madrid
To unleash Lookman fully he needs to be closer to goal not wide the flanks

He is
Kvara has been playing rubbish this season at Napoli
Our super eagles don’t float in balls properly
Chukwueze cannot cross with his right foot
Moses hardly does that with his left
Only Lookman doesn’t seem uncomfortable doing that
Start Chukwueze on the left or don’t bother put him on
Aina workload too much today, our boy overworked himself at the flanks
Plus he’s not a left footer which even makes it harder

His supposed weak left foot is better than all our natural left footers .

Osimhen put the ball inside the net, ref canceled it
Sanusi put the ball inside the net ref canceled it
Guinea bissau scored ref canceled
without VAR that game ended 3-1.
watch out for super eagles in round 16…i jus want that Guinea, cos the will be using that 2-0 win they had against us to judge us…then we go knack them strong thing

Contrary to some of the takes I have seen here, I don't think Osimhen needs to be pulled off, rather, he needs to be partnered up.

There was a pass he gave inside the 18-yard box in that game and nobody was there to receive it, if Kelechi was there, it would have been an easy tap in. Our players lack positioning, the 4th goal EQG scored, was basically from a rebound shot and it was because a player was there to capitalise.

Our team has no such player. I have lost count of how many times I have asked why players are not in positions to poach goals. Their positioning is shit, and people like Chukwueze don't know when to release a pass. Hell, I even saw them dodging a pass. How you go stand, dodge pass? Why will you allow a ball you could have easily kicked into the box, to go into corner?

There is a serious coaching problem with this team and it is clear Peseiros has no idea how to use attackers. You watch how good the attacks are in so many of these AFCON games and it just makes you pissed.

We have not had any decent goal in a tournament filled with spectacular goals. Our play has been lethargic, our attack abysmal and it is 65% a coaching problem.

You couldn't have said it better..
This is just Rohr football all over again.. some people might think its cute to play ugly defensive football and win, until your opponent score you first and you can't find your way back in because you haven't mastered the act of attacking football

When Peserio dey play two strikers Na una dey complain
Now Na the same two strikers una dey find again
Wetin una really want sef undecided
who is the una? I no join them complain for that one o. I apportion the large part on him for still utilizing those two and refusing to pressure them to do something worthwhile upfront asides Osimhen. Osimhen is creating space for them but they don't poach the box. That is something they ought to do. Perhaps the main guys are injured or something. But those two, if possible, throway them.

Aina is a better crosses with his left foot than Zaidu, Bruno on the left and with his right than Moses and Chukwueze.

I am thinking 🤔 that Aina can comfortably play in the midfield, actually I watched him up close and personal play left sided midfield for Hull in the Championship.

For me once again Aina was MOTM for Nigeria his work rate phenomenal. His passing range in this match better than Iwobi.
I think aina needs to go back to right wing back where he’s more comfortable
He gassed out yesterday against GNB

Exactly. We are the hardest team to beat. But let us not give our players that impression as they may come out complacent.

Look at our games in the group stage, against EG we played them handsomely but couldn't convert. Then we understood that we need to shove up our defense and believe in our attack that we can seal up wins in whichever way they come. That was what we did in our other two matches.

Last time Senegal played like this in the group stage and won. Rohr played like this in 2019 and even lost his final game to Madagascar but still got the bronze medal. We are slowly and steadily metamorphing..keep the fire up. We are a semi-final team. My only worry is the Algerian side. They seem to play like, if they qualify I hope they meet senegal at some point while we play either of the dark horses in the semi finals.
Algeria and Cape verde will have to cancel each other out in quarterfinal if both teams wins their r-16 games and possibly meet a certain Nigeria in the semifinal if the super eagles wobble to that stage🤣

You said we have so much chances but are wasting them and at the same time you apportioned the bigger part of the blame to the coach. I don't understand o. Na the coach go enter field to score?
The way he set up that midfield to start with. Aribo? 😰😰
Osayi?? Well. These two played rubbish, i started wishing Aina returned back to his RWB side. Also exposed Onyeka(might be a blessing in disguise).

There is a slight hope for Ghana to secure qualification for the round of 16.

These three conditions have to be met at the same time:

◾️Zambia MUST lose to Morocco
◾️DR Congo must draw or win against Tanzania
◾️Cameroon MUST draw with Gambia

Please let's buy calculatas for awa brades grin

In order to get to the semi finals of the tournament, Iheanacho needs to take Chukwueze's position on the right.
He might be recovering. But Chuks end product is anticipated as no threat mostly. Doesn't even track Osimhen runs.

They are not good enough
Then if our Top 5 league players are playing this boko haram football na oti lo be that. Against CIV one can understand why they were economical. But GNB?? They even had more goal attempts, more passing% in our own half? They pass from the back and best our press, but we pass and cannot beat their press. Twice Ajayi gifted them ball in a dangerous area. Same with Onyeka. If the coach wants to play tournament football, let him play it fully. Deny the opponent of any sight of the G.post. Cos I don't understand what we are playing since we are still allowing our opponent to shoot at our post.

I would rather we play Guinea and not Cameroon. Forget about the Guinea friendly, it means nothing now. Teams like Cameroon and Ghana always raise their game when they play Nigeria. They would rather die on the pitch..... grin

I told some Ghanaian fans last night that they can still qualify but they seemed not to understand. The way it is now, there is over 60% chance that CIV will still qualify.

Angola,Bfaso all on 4points
Algeria on 2point(win or draw dey qualify as group leader or best looser)
these are already more than 4countries required for round 16🤣, even Namibia dey 3points

Omo forget about that "they are not playing well talk" was Ghana playing well before we faced them at that 2022 WCQ double header? When it comes to games like that, form doesn't count. When they face Nigeria all their ancestors will join forces with them on the field and Nigeria themselves will have an off-day. For me, Guinea are lesser devils

Here in lies the paradox , Alhassan is as light as feather and would have been mashed up, bashed and taken after getting exhausted by the 🔚 of the first half.

On the other Onyedika is an immobile brick🧱wall that has no invention or creativity.

Both of them come with problems 😔and proffer no solutions.

I love this take 💯

I was comparing alhassan pros to onyedika cons
That’s my bad

Ighalo remains our best striker in recent times.
No one comes close.
This is not even arguable
It would have made sense if Osimhen had started from the bench. Moffi or Onuachu should have started. Who knows they might turn out to be more prolific than Victor.

I just don't know what exactly is wrong with Osimhen.

Over three matches he has been awful in front of goal while getting at least two to three big chances per game!

This is not the Osimhen the world knows at Napoli! 😕 What exactly is going on?🤔

Does he not know that the whole world is watching?... The only thing that's been keeping him a little bit relevant is that he has his other attributes going for him - his pace, strength, and agility.

Ghana is not completely out even though their chance is very slim. Cameroon can draw and end up on 2pts, Algeria can lose and end up on 2pts, Zambia can also can lose. This is football, anything happen grin
