Lol Emilio Nsue has been the best striker of this tournament from the Spanish third division. Salah is the best player in Liverpool 🤣😂🤣😂
I bet if the guy were to be a Nigerian, some would have written a 2 page thesis on how they spoke with a top official in Fernando po and he confirmed that NFF forced the player on the coach after collecting egunje from him, then garnish the thesis with all manners of boko haram English.

I felt he was off. He seemed kinda ruffled

yes of course, he is on the verge of becoming the highest goal scorer in the competition

We really need to ignore all of our top strikers in top leagues in europe and focus on getting 3rd tier CF from Spain 🇪🇸 🥱🥱🥱🥱

There is a slight hope for Ghana to secure qualification for the round of 16.

These three conditions have to be met at the same time:

◾️Zambia MUST lose to Morocco
◾️DR Congo must draw or win against Tanzania
◾️Cameroon MUST draw with Gambia

Please let's buy calculatas for awa brades grin

Even if Ghana qualifies dem no go pass second round, that team is so bad. We just gifted them the the World Cup the last time. The team is shit

Nigeria’s likely pathway to the final
R-16 Nig vs Gui/Cam 🤪 (choke and nick them)

Qf Alg/Sa vs Nig (play nonsense and advance)

SF Nig vs CPV/Morocco (humble them🤪and send them away)

Final Nig vs Sen (8-1-1 formation, force them to penalty shootout, and snatch the trophy undeservedly 🤣🤣anyone can now go to court and challenge the result)🤪

Worrying observation VO is getting a lot of chances but not able to score.

This is gidigbo, pounded yam, blood and guts African football ⚽ warfare. This is not Oyibo football.

Those Guinea guys were good they were so determined dem no send , this was a very hard fought victory albeit lucky.

Maybe we will improve in our football so far we have been scraping through not really winning any game convincingly.
...Good goalkeeping and defense

Nsue was supposed to be a promising striker for Spain. We played him at U17 and U20 in 2007 and 2009 respectively and he was phenomenal. I was surprised to see him playing for Guinea years back and his club career never hit the top.

EEGA:
In order to get to the semi finals of the tournament, Iheanacho needs to take Chukwueze's position on the right.

EEGA:
The only change we should be making to the starting line-up is Iheanacho for Chukwueze.

EEGA:
No sane coach will drop Osimhen. He brings more than just scoring to the table.

He scored against Equatorial Guinea, won a penalty against Cote d'Ivoire and his runs into space caused the owngoal scored against Guinea Bissau.

Stats can be truly deceptive.

If Osimhen is not benched then Chukwueze should be benched and Moffi should play RW.

Iheanacho is injured and playing him will be a wicked thing to do.

You don't have any midfielder with the passing selection or range of Nwakali, not even Iwobi. If you had such midfielder playing in Real Madrid no sane human being will mention Nwakali.

Lol they are not playing well
Have you been watching them
But you have a point though
Guinea seems more organized to me
Onana gonna concede if we take our chances

As he rightly said, it's better we play another save Ghana and Cameroon.

Besides, Onana is not a poor goalkeeper as people are portraying him. Nobi Onana carry Inter Milan reach UEFA Champions league final last season?

What about his exploits at Ajax?

Na Manchester United and Cameroon defense no good.

We need Nwakali. We need him back to really prove himself in GwG again. I have seen enough of Aribo and Onyedika, its time they take back seat.

We don't need to beg Eze or Olise to play for us either, I am very sure if Nwakali is given a chance, dude gonna díè to prove himself.

Onuachu ain't trusted by the coach, I guess Gift's spot in the squad is secured. Moffi won't be called again too, except we are having serious injury problem, hence Boniface spot is non-negoatible.

Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon need to retire from International Football as well. Its time they are fully replaced in the squad.

I don't wanna criticise Osimhen coz he is a hustler and always put his 100% but he needs to be clinical. Chuks on the hand has been so annoying, how I wish Tella made the squad.

Osayi that some folks hailed high heaven is proven to be below avvveeeeerrrraaaaggggeeee!

But wait oo, i want to understand something, why Equatorial guinea draw with us..if they can actually score 8goals in 2matches…why was our scoring opportunity against them more than theirs in that first game?
I think they were being wary and very cautious of our attacking threat.

Although this has not been materializing but you can't have an attack comprising of fast and deadly players like Osimhen, Lookman, simon, Chuks, Iwobi and others ( in fact the whole of our attack)

We have the deadliest fronline in the AFCON on paper so they've got to be wary.

I think Peseiro has shown us that standing behind his players is his forte.

I believe he was thinking "We are winning, CIV are having their asses handed to them, Osimhen is desperate to score. Let me leave him"

It's a good thing to stand behind his players... It's also not a good thing for him to make his other players feel less important...

Anyway, I hope we don't have a repeat of Eguavon case against Tunisa and Ghana in Abuja when we had to throw in all our strikers in the dying minutes in an attempt to get a goal...

Let us throway our pride. Olise will become world class player in the nearest future. It's worth begging to play for us. Eze too is good. Nwakali should prove himself.

Abi no bi the same set em bi with Osimhen and Chuks wey dey claim ladder for dem career?

Awoniyi would have buried most of those chances but we can't rule out Osimhen link up play and positioning. Top notch.

Finishing come hard am this time around but I hope he comes good.

Omo, I am presently in Accra. The way Ghanaian fans are ranting here eh. Make them no kill that Ofori of a keeper when he returns o. The funny thing is they kept comparing their team with Nigeria while speaking their native language grin
The whole drama just dey sweet my belle grin I was just looking at them as if to sympathize with them but I just dey laugh inside grin

The sad thing is that the ball was heading for a Corner without him touching it, because it struck the back of a Ghanaian player on its way.

His job there was to catch it, and he put his hand out, it touched his hand, only for him to pull away. If he had caught that ball, there would nevee have been a corner.

But that's fate for you. I saw their journalists harassing the players post game, if those guys like themselves, they should not even bother getting to Ghana once they leave.

We saw him in the last AFCON, even when he could have gotten a penalty, baba decided to stand strong inside 18-yard box.

Man frustrated me in Cameroon, so, I cannot vouch for this one.

You couldn't have said it better..
This is just Rohr football all over again.. some people might think its cute to play ugly defensive football and win, until your opponent score you first and you can't find your way back in because you haven't mastered the act of attacking football

Nah, Rohr ball was better than this.

I was still enjoying the boys with Rohr ball in certain games, this one, I cannot even watch the game without wanting to pull my hair out.

Nwakali anchors but what about other parts?

Tackling, running, tracking, defending etc. If he add these to his game, he won't be where he is today.

Best player of U17 for that matter.

Wow wonderful, If a player who has been a RB for his club is d best for his country and so far the best marksman for a tourney other world class strikers are in, then their is need to ask some questions. Why is his team creating and him scoring with ease and your world class team is playing with 5 defenders against minnows and they still out played you even in your own half of the pitch. Nwakali has nothing to do with the Boko haram football your world class MF's are playing.

Was there VAR then? Whether Osimhen stood up or not, the VAR referee will still call the referee's attention to that foul.

The same Awoniyi has gone from Bundesliga to EPL since then, and has proven himself after that competition.

For real I hope we don't jam that ref again with her nonsense calls.

Omeruo didn't stand up well to the ref for those 3 yellow cards. 2 were not justified. No warning just straight. That lady...we need to pray we don't jam her going forward. How none of Bissau players got any card is the more reason i didn't like her officiating.

What do you guys think ?

Does Siasia deserve forgiveness and his case reviewed by FIFA
After all Sepp Blatter was also found guilty for corruption cases

Siasia has the best cv when it comes to home grown coaches
I understand football has changed compared to 5 years ago

Don’t you guys think he’s better than Peseiro
Especially in sourcing for competent local content to infuse in the team 😅😂
We need to rebuild post Afcon and Peseiro will not take NPFL guys serious
He’d only waste money to go around the country to watch games he’s not really interested in
No other coach in Nigeria has a better cv than him
