I have a strong feeling that our 2nd place in Group A may have landed us a little bit of luck that's if we take our chances against either Guinea / Cameroon. If we face Guinea, thank God we played them in a friendly with our B team. If Cameroon , we know their physical and hit and run capabilities already but like Gernot Rohr would say let be humble and take each game one at a time. Jpes rested some players today which should be an advantage to us. Hopefully we can see Alhassan, Lookman, Iheanacho, Moffi, Onyedikachi, Ekong, Musa, Onuachu etc execute the 2nd phase of this tourney.
We lost to Guinea with team A or B wey me no understand and we struggled against Guinea Bissau with team what?

He's not even a striker for his club. He's a RB!

Asin. That team has loads of influence from Spanish football. The way they all drift into spaces so that advancing into the box is not by any individual skill is applaudable. It's still painful that they scored 9 and na 3 we score.

Nsue's conversion rate at this AFCON will make one really vex with our forwards.

Nigeria’s likely pathway to the final
R-16 Nig vs Gui/Cam 🤪 (choke and nick them)

Qf Alg/Sa vs Nig (play nonsense and advance)

SF Nig vs CPV/Morocco (humble them🤪and send them away)

Final Nig vs Sen (8-1-1 formation, force them to penalty shootout, and snatch the trophy undeservedly 🤣🤣anyone can now go to court and challenge the result)🤪
Wuru wuru to the answer.

Here in lies the paradox , Alhassan is as light as feather and would have been mashed up, bashed and taken out after getting exhausted by the 🔚 of the first half.

On the other Onyedika is an immobile brick🧱wall that has no invention or creativity.

Both of them come with problems 😔and proffer no solutions.
Bitterleaf soup analysis don done

You couldn't have said it better..
This is just Rohr football all over again.. some people might think its cute to play ugly defensive football and win, until your opponent score you first and you can't find your way back in because you haven't mastered the act of attacking football
I dey tell them. They are jumping up hailing this crippled football we are playing. Eye go soon red.

The ultra defensive tactics has put us in a situation where a few key players one more card away from suspension..Nwabili, Bassey, Onyeka got booked whilst no Guinea player was booked by the ref.

If the team survives to the quarters, we may just have Uzoho in the post. Very clever for a team supposedly playing tournament footie

Ghana not winning yesterday was a big plus to Ivory Coast. If cameroon and gambia settle for draw and morroco defeat zambia, Ghana will qualify.

Who are the top 5 most competent players in the current squad, consistency, quality, influence on the game and end product.

Aina
VO
Bassey
Iwobi
Ademola

They all play in the backwaters of Europe and low quality teams ❓

There are number of players I would not have had in the squad. The squad selection was poor unimpressive and not adventurous.

There are several far better players left out
Can you please name the far better players that were left out?

After the Afcon
We will go back to drawing minnows home and away at the World Cup qualifiers
And probably not qualify with this coach
We are playing negative football as if we are playing big teams
The coach doesn’t trust his defenders to keep a clean sheet that’s why we are playing 5 - 4 - 1 without the ball
Imagine we go Dey draw Lesotho etc

Have we forgotten so easily? What has been the performance of Awoniyi,Moffi,Umar under Peseiro when Osimhen was unavailable?.

Jp should not make the mistake of benching Osimhen in our next game.

Chukwueze must sit out from the Round of 16.

I expect to see Iheanancho starting in our next next game.

Lookman and Moffi can actually flank Osimhen.

Osimhen must maintain his spot as our hit man.

What do you guys think ?

Does Siasia deserve forgiveness and his case reviewed by FIFA
After all Sepp Blatter was also found guilty for corruption cases

Siasia has the best cv when it comes to home grown coaches
I understand football has changed compared to 5 years ago

Don’t you guys think he’s better than Peseiro
Especially in sourcing for competent local content to infuse in the team 😅😂
We need to rebuild post Afcon and Peseiro will not take NPFL guys serious
He’d only waste money to go around the country to watch games he’s not really interested in
No other coach in Nigeria has a better cv than him

U no see as one of them run go bring out clip of goal wey bobo scored against ATM in a preseason game over 5 years ago 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
many people here don’t watch ball, cos if they do nobody in his right sense will want to start Moffi ahead of Osimhen. Which kain rough play be that?
