Even full time farmers go to the market so make you start by engaging your noggin abeg. The main point of farming/gardening some of what you eat is to cut down on cost. If you can grow even 25% of the vegetables you eat in your own backyard, you save yourself good money. It's commonsense.

Asides imported, food items from the north are rice, beans, yam, potatoe, water melon, carrot & salad ingredient, goat/ram/cow , pepper, onions and groundnut oil these items are quiet more expensive
