I had same concerns before buying a C300. I’ve only needed to change brake pads, and regular maintenance like oil change and plugs. Funny enough I bought it as Nigerian used that was imported since 2018.

If you ever need to buy a Benz, talk to actual owners on their experiences. There’s a lot of misconception about cost of Benz maintenance in Nigeria.

Answer is NO, you will probably get a Nigerian used one which mostly would have been abused, however if you had not bought or used a direct tokumbo b4, you might not know the difference.
