kingphilip:Frankly don't see that happening. This CIV has too many frailties. The only reason I want them to progress is to boost the stadium attendance. |

Pick up form ke!! From where? Brother that team moral and mental state is abysmally very low now...the 4:0 CIV conceded at home will haunt them for a very long time. The players psychic is low. kingphilip: |

not as if all our top 9 in super eagles from golden generation days to these present days have scored more than 2goals in group stage of Afcon abi were they not also seeing chances?...most of them started becoming beastly infront of goal in KO stages. i will blame everyone one that also missed chances from match day 1 till date Osimhen missed chances Aina missed chances Ziadu missed chances Chukwueze missed chances Osayi missed chances Lookman missed chances Simon Missed missed if all these guys had scored una for no dey reason osimhen. when you hear super eagles statpading teams its not don by a single player from golden generation till now, other guys in those days that saw chances utilized their chances. Rohr for bench ighalo for 2019 after scoring just only one goal in group stage na😏 |

kingphilip:Let them gain form and help us to knock out Senegal in the 2nd round ![]() If at all they keep winning, we will not play them till the semis if both teams continue to win. I will rather face that CIV team again than to face Senegal at any stage |

Morrocco style of attack Pick a wing, advance with wing overload and quick use of space And Waste it. Zambia content with Counter. |

My honest assessment of the team is we not yet at the level we have to be to win this tournament but they are not far off. Goalkeeping position and defense have improved considerably from what the situation was pre-AFCON. I don't know if Nwabali is the best we could have gotten to man the sticks but his performances have been satisfactory and should be the minimum required of any SE first choice goalie. Aina and Bassey have brought the quality I thought they were capable of. Ekong's leadership and defensive awareness have rubbed off of who has been slightly more composed. Midfield is still lacking that cutting edge pray the coach sorts it out soon cos we will be punished if we don't get it would right. Attack has been heavily reliant on Osimhen who hasn't been at his sharpest. Other players need to step up in their goal scoring responsibilities. Victor can't do it would all on his own. Guys like KC, Moffi, Lookman, Chukwueze, Simon and Iwobi have to pitch in. All said and done I'm optimistic the team will get better. |

The Ivorian fans have been booing the Zambian players, because a loss for Zambia will increase Cote D'Voire's chances of survival. |

daveP:They are too strong for the Zambian side. As for their supporters the belief that they can win afcon after an impressive World Cup could be a motivation for the massive turn out |

humility33:Yes one goal in three games so how bad is that? And mind you, he has been involved one way or another in all the team's goals. This is a tournament where, you just don't count goals alone. How many goals did Ideye score at AFCON 2013 before becoming one of the best players? You don't manage a football team based on emotions Bro form is temporary but class is permanent if you don't know. This is the knockout stages, a dangerman upfront is an advantage. What should be saying is pair Osimhen or slot in another during the second half. |
