I really don't understand you people that wish the country bad. What makes it worse is that 90% of you people earn in Nigeria. I earn in dollar, when there is inflation, my dollar gives me an edge or at worse cancels things out for me ( my buying power doesn't diminish ) but most of you people wishing hell on Nigeria earn in naira. Almost like putting fire to your one and only house with no escape route.

Quiet senseless if you ask me.
I think what people are saying is that the government policies so far has no benefit to the common people and this is what most of them expected. I don't think anyone is praying for the government to fail. If the government fails then Nigeria fails and I believe nobody in Nigeria wants that to be the case.

Bad news since Bulaba took over. My Yoruba brethren who occupied Ojota are nowhere in sight to protest.
Nigeria isn't a real country.
Divide this shithole or go back to regional government otherwise you guys will keep running round in circles

Nah... Certain Nigerians earnestly desire to see Tinubu's administration fail woefully.

For such people, it validates their conviction and belief that he is unworthy of that position, and they are ready to lose everything of value to them just to be proved right.

Then again, if you look at it, it feels like Karma! Tinubu, at one point in the past, never wanted his President to succeed in anything.

What he said was Let them loud the hunger with hyperinflation, na them go still suffer-am. Soon, many will start eating 0-0-1 per day.

That is definitely someone wishing ill on the country. I am sad the way things are and I dislike Tinubu and firmly believe he is a crook but seriously, why pray ill on the country because I do not like the president? How does the country burning benefit me and makes me happy ( unless I am someone who likes benefiting from the pains of others which is not the real way to true happiness)

Sigh... This Currency is 'dying' faster than most of us predicted. cry

Sukkot my chief, remember this our convo on Nov 4, 2023? Feb 4, 2024 will make it 3months, and that is just around the corner. Lol

sukkot:
Y’all just don’t understand the genius of Emile o corn. You see those billions of dollars pumped into the banks ? That’s a 2 to 3 months effect and within that time space they are going to fire up the Dangote refinery in December ( they already allocated close to a million barrel of oil in december to fire it up ) which would be a huge source of forex being the biggest refinery in the world every country would come refine in naija and would pay in dollars and then coupled with detty December when all japarians bring in forex, am afraid by this December there will be a huge crash to like 400 or 500 and it will never rise up again ever. It will just slowly start to decline till it gets to like 100 over an 8 year period

I guess all am saying is if you didn’t cash out when it hit 1300 you lost forever.
my response was
Treadway:
lol.... bookmarked for review in 3 months pere. I won't even stretch it till 6months😀

Until we begin to spend Nigeria's money in Nigeria, the naira will keep diving.

Even Tinubu himself knows he's going to fail. How can you expect a man who said, "na statistics we go chop" to improve your country? Even a layman knows the importance of statistics.
Just 6 months into his tenure and everywhere is already upside down while people like you blame the masses for "desiring tinubu's administration to fail".

It's not a game of wish, that you have come here to make noise about you earning in dollars has not make you sensible either ,

you don't wish things into happening , they said if wishes are horses , beggers would ride ,

they are telling you , this is the effect of making the wrong decision during election , do u want them to wish the dollar down to $1 per #1 ? ,
you want to hide the fact that the entire government crew are clueless and not fit for govt, as a matter of fact, they are just rolling along with the dice, they are not doing anything whatsoever to control how the dice roll,
the only good thing they know how to do is come with propaganda on how Nigerian stock exchange is the number 2 in the world , since when did that type of news bring down inflation?

Some of you are so daft and so deep in generalisation. Please show me where and when I voted for Tinubu or even lobbied for votes for him.

Use your head, if the content of it is not ice cream, expired ice cream.

I repeat, praying ill on Nigeria is senseless. A good amount of the elites in this country don't like Tinubu and I definitely do not like him but how does it profit me if I pray for his failure?

Is that difficult to understand?

Yeah... That would have been great if your nation was not so import-driven.

If we all exported valuable commodities and produced all we needed in Nigeria, the demand for the Dollar would have been very low, ergo a massive bridging of both Currency values.

This was how things were in the 70s and even the 80s.

So, your purchasing power is declining rapidly with the value of your currency because inflation is galloping along with everything... The value of your Naira savings practically declines per hour, right now.

Wether he prays or not, wish or not, it will never affect the exchange rate. Economy knows no prayer, knows no wishes and listens to no propaganda. Stop gas lighting the fella.

Hold Tinubu accountable. Call him out let him get to work and fix the economy. This fella's prayers and wishes are not the reason why dollar is exchanging at 1400.
