To even put the Ewedu hard them. It's so annoying the way people are beginning to take advantage of the high cost of things to cheat their customers. We know things are expensive but is that why one can not get what they paid for? I mean this food was paid for but where is the soup meant for the swallow? It's crazy and op can not protest it?

See the sick looking stew self.

Cook yoir own food at home,it is cheaper than eating outside.

It looks reasonably priced, actually cheap. The question is always how easy is it to earn the money.

Good Luck to Nigerians.

Go and farm and sell it at 500 naira.
Inflation doesn't happen in isolation. It hits everything.

So agricultural produce sold for N2500 in 2020 should now be sold for 12k?

No shame, open wide mouth say half a dollar undecided

Y can't 1₦=1$

So he could have bought d food for ₦23 instead.

Dumb citizens, tueh!
$1 is equal to 148 Japanese Yen, is Japan a poor country? Use your brain, N1000 have more purchasing value in Nigeria than $1 in the US so the hypothesis of 1 to 1 have no economic value or meaning.

Although OP never mentioned anything about work. I take food to work. 99% of my colleagues do as well, and I don't know of anyone making less than 10m a year on my team.

Eating out quickly adds up and end up being expensive in the long run.

Who is talking about money here? Do you know what he does for living? Not having seat at the office....
Year's back, my wife usually packaged my lunch, most time I end up giving it away. Or just forget it in my fridge at the office.
Nowadays, I eat out.

I went out to get lunch somewhere in Lagos today and this the food I bought for N600. That’s 4 portions of Amala with meat and ponmo.

I think a lot of food people are selling these days are over priced.

The amala looks okay, but not enough soup. Did you not mind?
How were you able to enjoy it? undecided

Cam down oga.. which same same.... how much is fertiliser, herbicides, pesticides in 2018 and now... beside u expect them to sell cheap and when they go to market the money cannot buy a simple shoe for them... weather we like it or not dollar's affect every aspect of economy

Yea@ bold. I was with some farmers last week who were very happy a basin of garri is now sold for almost N12,000. They were pointing out to me how they sold a basin of garri for N2,500 in 2018. How garri business has become so lucrative due to rise in dollar and subsequent rise everywhere else.

Same land, same cassava stem for planting, same planting techniques with adherence to the planting season, yet, in a space of 6yrs, garri price have quadrupled.

Na we dey do ourselves.

This is exactly how foolish ill educated people talk. Soo Farmers won't factor in cost of fertiliser, machinery, transportation, fuel and other things affected by inflation.
They won't pay rent or pay their children school fees.
