chrisooblog:Even from deep, you'd see him trying to pick the defense splitting pass. He worked really hard. |

chrisooblog:his connection with okocha has affected his rating in the eagles. His performance since his first day has always been measured against okocha's. most people don't even want to know if he is playing deep, they just want to see him play like okocha. The funny thing is that iwobi is just 5 goals behind his uncle in the nt and has 2 two more assist than okocha. He would have been viewed differently if he didn't have any connection with Jay Jay. |

lordofstrings:Nwakali no doubt is a good player but he couldn’t develop the physical aspect of his game Coaches of this generation no Dey use players with high work rate dey play The reason u see less talented but robust and physical midfielders moving to good and decent clubs/leagues |

Spot on assessment. Alex's link to Jayjay makes everyone judge him based on his Uncle's outrageous skills and talent instead of appreciating Iwobi for his own qualities. Amedino99: |

charlesemeka85:our present xi has high work rate except Iwobi. Chukwueze and Iheanacho are on the bench because they don't have work rate like Osimhen,Look man and Moses |

Cameroonians gave up the game after the first goal they conceded. Thought they'd recognize they been handed a lifeline to fight for a place in the quarters but there was no fire in them. Etoo practically wept on his way to the parking lot. I guess the saying is true that you can't give what u don't have. Anguissa's body language said it all. I guess Etoo's talk demoralized the team. That said, kudos to our team. They did well. They showed chemistry and understanding which has been lacking for quite a while. They played with fire in their hearts. Committed to the end. Congrats Naija . |

Men e still dey burst my brain how our defense restricted Cameroon to ZERO shots on target. Was reading how N'Koudou who had a tournament high 10-chances created from open play and set-pieces was completely nullified by Aina yesterday. |

Just saw a clip of JPes post match presser talking about Osimhen on Channels TV sports. He said that go and ask the other team's defenders. They suffer. |

Mujtahida:remember one cross that nobody challenged but that Cameroon no 5 almost did own goal? I wonder why folks are Overrating Angola and Mabululu. The Angola defense is just like Cameroon own. That mental presence of Nigeria's attack is going to force errors from defenders in this AFCON. Mabu won't be the 1st to breach that defense. It is Angola that should be having panic attacks about what Nigeria CAN AND WILL DO on Friday. Even worse if Iheanacho gets minutes. Our only concern right now is availability of Nwabali. |
