Even from deep, you'd see him trying to pick the defense splitting pass. He worked really hard.

Bobo na Arsenal groomed player which is evident in his style of play. The very reason wenger trusted him and brought him to the first team when he wasn’t even among the best in his set playing for Arsenal’s youth teams

The two times he played those goal kicks he caused a clash of heads between our players. The first was between Aina and Onyeka. The second was between Osimhen and I think Bassey. His goal-kick range was short. When the Angolan goalkeeper came on after their first-choice goalkeeper got an early red card, he made a beautiful save immediately. his connection with okocha has affected his rating in the eagles. His performance since his first day has always been measured against okocha's. most people don't even want to know if he is playing deep, they just want to see him play like okocha. The funny thing is that iwobi is just 5 goals behind his uncle in the nt and has 2 two more assist than okocha. He would have been viewed differently if he didn't have any connection with Jay Jay.

Like Marjoribanks predicted before the Afcon, we could win it. He always cited our talents depth. He was right but talent without structure gets you nothing. He kept stressing how our talents should see us dominating this tournament and he had a strong fair point but one problem remained: How would Jpes utilise them? Finally we have been answered with Jpes' repentance from the 442.

So Nigeria will win it not because of talents depth but because of our current structure. Cos Jpes finally switched things up to the advantage of the personnels at his disposal.

So it wont be down to what was seen before the Afcon. It is down to what Peseiro is finally getting right at this Afcon.

Change of formations to 433 and then 343 Proper utilization of players in these formations in tandem with the tactical discipline of our backline.

Nigeria is properly executing tournament football and Osimhen is the number 9 you need for a team that is set up this way.


Note: Osimhen is dynamic. He is the number 9 you need both for an attacking and defensive based side. He is excellent for a counter attack side and also thrives with aplomb in a possessive based side. What a super well rounded striker!!! A number 9 for all occasions, formations and setups

These are the things u hv to put into consideration. Then the only top level CB we hv was Yobo unlike now when a top young and impressive CB like Ogbu is yet to get a chance in the team coupled the possible switch of Tosin and others hopefully soon


If we manage to get Tosin then Ogbu earns his first call up and performs we hv enough when the above mentioned duo are added to the current ones we hv in the team currently

remember one cross that nobody challenged but that Cameroon no 5 almost did own goal? I wonder why folks are Overrating Angola and Mabululu. The Angola defense is just like Cameroon own. That mental presence of Nigeria's attack is going to force errors from defenders in this AFCON. Mabu won't be the 1st to breach that defense.


It is Angola that should be having panic attacks about what Nigeria CAN AND WILL DO on Friday. Even worse if Iheanacho gets minutes. Our only concern right now is availability of Nwabali.
