Xavi was good, but not exceptionally good. During the time of Deco and Ronaldinho, Xavi was almost extinct. His career resourfaced with Pep.
It is people like Michael Laudrup, Paul Scholes, Xabi Alonso, Andrea Pirlo that are very hard to see in world football because those players were extraordinarily excellent.
