Please I need advise

There was a delay in my student permit so I deferred my admission to September 2024.

Glory to God now my VISA is out but it’s expiring in December 2024

Please I need advise on my next line of action. When should I travel ? Would the Visa be extended ?

I will not argue with your point rather I’ll give you some food for thoughts, I am not far from you in my expenses because I am in a self sponsored Master’s program.
But I will never allow negativity win, when I got here reality hit me so hard, because I was doing well in Nigerian standards but I had to adjust, all the years I spent in Abuja flexing I couldn’t meet a decent lady that I can settle down with but just 6 months in Canada I met a beautiful, humble, intelligent, hard working Nigerian girl. What are the odds if I didn’t move I’ll probably be married to one slay queen.
I’m not yet PR but bro I am forever positive, I know why I left, and I wasn’t expecting to become a millionaire overnight.
Do not generalize, you are disappointed in your journey not everyone is, I pray you find reasons to be thankful and the money you spent with time you’d get it back. Finally you can still head back home, remember your happiness is important.
Bro as a student how many hours is one allowed to work. And how do one get work permit on getting too Canada. Or is automatic once you get your sin.

Just as you must have thought, same way I have assumed it covers post graduate certificate programs. However, several applicants offering graduate certificate programs have written to their schools for clarifications and not one single school has come out to clearly give an affirmative answer to such enquiry.

Your study permit is issued at your point entry I.e airport. It’s validity is always tied to the length of your studies.
For your SIN you have to go to Service Canada for enrollment, you need an address & study permit for that.
20 hours a week, if you earn 20/hr that is below $400/ week after tax.

Good day house, please my brother want to relocate through study route, he wants me to join them as a nanny, he is going for a program in Canada, there is enough money to cover all the expenses, I am in my early 40's, I have been to US embassy some years back but was denied Visa, I am married, I also have a plan going for masters in another country, though I don't have much resources. Is there.pkease is there a hope of getting the Canadian visa as a nanny or should I pursue the second option of traveling to another country for masters? Please I'm confuse. I will need advice. What are the chances of getting Canada visa as a nanny?

I think the reason why they are still hesitant is because in some Ontario govt programs for example, they define post graduate program as any program in which the entry requirement is bachelor's degree alone and not any other qualification
So most of the post graduate certificate programs won't fall into that category because their entry requirements is not for bachelors degree alone. They also admit people with diploma into those programs.
So I guess schools would have to be sure before making statements.

I have a plan of traveling to another country for laster though I don't have much fund, should I forget it and focus on this Canada as a nanny or I should go ahead with my plan, kindly advise me.
With these new policies I'm afraid of getting rejection, what are the chances of me joining his family?

Yes. You have a point. They had better quickly address it if they have to make it clear that bachelors degree being entry requirement for post graduate certificate programs. That will be a huge progress.

Not really cos that program I was citing as example looks at the program not the individual. So it doesn't matter if you were admitted with a bachelor's degree or even masters as long as the program admits people with other qualifications like advanced diploma etc then that program is ineligible.

So people will have to check their program minimum entry requirements and see if their program admits only Bachelors graduates as minimum.
But I hope they won't use that criteria else a lot of graduate certificate programs won't qualify as there are only few that admits only Bachelors degree holders as their minimum entry requirements

Hello everyone, my Visa just got denied due to finances for the second time. Dad is my sponsor with his business company account, opening balance of 15m and closing balance of 40m for 4 months. I've paid 1st semester school fees. Don't know what to do again. Please what is that thing that I should request for to know the actual reason for denial?

Stop using company account, use personal. They always think Companies need many signatures to get access to money.

You can request for your GCMS note to know the actual reason. But to my understanding, having denied your application wasn't because you don't have money, it may probably because you didn't show proofs of the source of the money. Secondly, you didn't explain the source in your LOE/SOP. Here is my advice, firstly, let you dad send the money to your account and you do a gift deed to back it up. Secondly, let your dad show proofs of the source of the funds like job/contract letter from clients or previous receipts of contracts done. If your dad pay tax, include tax payment receipt. Mostly importantly, explain those documents in your SOP/LOE.

In my case, I was rejected for financial reason, although I'm a self sponsored. I reapply again and include those documents mentioned above to show the source of funds in my personal account without applying for GCMS note and I was approved in my second application. Although, I later applied for GCMS note after I had submitted my application, that was exactly the concern of the officer. He said limited evidence pertaining to the source funds, and that he wasn't convinced that the money is sufficient and that the money was only for show purpose to be able to meet the financial requirement.

So, don't relent. Get strong documents to back up the source of your dad's income. It will end in praise.

Good day house.
Please help 🙏🙏🙏

Please when a company is sponsoring you, do the company need to send any money into your account or the company's documents will suffice or be okay to convince the VO about their sponsorship.

You don't need much.
1. Letter from the company or the person stating why they want to sponsor you.

2. The company's/person's Bank Statement

3. Enough evidence pertaining to the source of funds of the company or the person.

4. Ensure you explain those documents in details in SOP/LOE

5. All other documents about you like your CV and your Academic Records. Make sure you also submit your personal bank statement and have some money in your account.

6. If you are employed, ensure you include your employment letter and your pay slip.

7. If they are sending the money to your account, ensure you do gift deed to back it up.

8. Ensure you have strong home ties and explain it in LOE

You can use the Tax clearance that expired Dec 2023. I just submitted form A for school fees and upkeep with Standard Chartered Bank for my ward it has been reviewed and approved, but do not know how long it will take to disburse. I was told there is a queue, but will be called when it gets to my turn.
