This man should be quiet. He lacks shame.

You're right 💯 Nigeria is a shameless country with shameless rulers and citizens. Nothing embarrasses us and that's not a good place to be. Otherwise how is it possible for this character to be still milking what should be a national embarrassment?

And this mindset here is exactly our problem.
We believe so much in plenty plenty grammar, yet no results.

This man in question might be good on the job, his expertise on the job might be highly unquestionable.
Yes, his grammar is below par.
He is not your everyday guy, not so polished, lacks good presentation skills. Admittedly so, but he might be your go-to guy on the job.

And that is the most important thing.
Can he do his job well?
Does he do his job well?
Does he provide results?

If yes, then good.

See, not everyone is fortunate to come from a polished background.
This guy might have been born in one remote village where before you attend a school , you must walk some kilometers.
That alone is killing.
Students are tired before getting to school, they get to school tired and feeling sleepy.
They are looking forward to leaving school so they can embark on the long journey home.
They get home only to go farming or go to the market to help mama sell her goods, without which feeding will be challenging.

Some of us, had it easy.
Great family background.
Wonderful schools.
Brilliant friends and companions.
After school lesson either at tutorial centers or privately at home.
Wonderful exposure to western culture and technologies.
Surrounded by maids, doing all the house chores for us.
Access to chauffeur driven cars to & from school - so no stress at all.
Provision of allowances regularly.
Vacation abroad during holidays.
Access to different teaching aids and gadgets that Make learning easy and fun for us

Please how on earth do you want to compare this 2 set of people.
Yet we will compete in the same national exam: GEC/WAEC/NECO/JAMB etc
We apply to the same organization for jobs.

The guys that belong to Shem Obafaiye's category only got their jobs through hard work and stroke of luck in most cases because they don't even have the needed man know man kind of connection.

We all don't come from great background.
Some of us, our background is more humble than humble himself.

That error is a blessing in disguise. Dont beat yourself hard for your mistake . It will turn out to be a blessing.

It is confusing, you d be surprised even though you are aware of the job vacancies they d still wouldn't employ the vacancies are probarbly waiting for candidates who might not even be qualified but would bribe them. As i said, try approaching them with an incentive like a brown evelope, you d be amazed how swift they d respond. That is typical Naigerians system.


I doubt if any politician can even help. They are worst. They made the system corrupt.
