a team conceding one goal means stingy defence not necessarily the best defence
Lol.. what does stingy defense even mean?
If you're a defender, are you supposed to be generous and allow your opponents have one or two at you even when you could easily prevent it?

Some people were saying Nwabali was too gentle. He should have gone hard in the guy.

Looking at this picture, I think there was no how he could have protected himself.

The trouble with stats they don't tell you the quality of the assist and or the goal 🥅

A player may have dribbled and skilled 6 players before passing the ball for someone to tap it in.

Michael Olise was taking players I and giving pin point accurate crosses both of them are poetry in motion. Eze goal from a precision ball from Olise simply Magical.
I agree with the bolded and would have liked this post. What followed after is typical of you and may not be accurate. Someone scored hattrick you didn't mention him. Were all his 3 goals tap in?

Who else noticed Lookman is no longer selfish. Before now he'd have tried to score by himself the ball he squared to Aina.

Mali. Conceded one goal against Tunisia.
And one goal against Burkina yesterday, so, that's 2 goals.

We still have just one. Best defence

Na dt “stingy” defense Dey win tournament…eagles are playing in a highly organized compatible game, only a team full of individual brilliance can defeat dis team…it will be very difficult for any side in dis tournament to defeat eagles except if we decide to do d unusual;wc happens once in a while..dt Cameroon game was a confirmation, our opponents shld just drag us to d penalties and hope Dey win via penalties.

What i can see is a very organised defence .... our gk has been on holidays ,he should enjoy his vacation till the end of the AFCON ,If we contiue like this 2 of our defenders or 3 will make the best back line of the tournament ...

Me, I have a bad feeling about this. The way Nigerians have made noise on social media may just be the undoing of the Super Eagles

Scored at U17 level.

Scored at U20 level.

Scored at U23 level.

Scored in Spain.

CAF even made a post captioned, "Bend it like Nwakali" on Twitter from the U23 Afcon in 2019. A freekick goal vs Zambia.

So Joebie isn't capping when he made that reference. There is no better FK specialist in this Super Eagles than Nwakali.

Question answered.

Now focus back on the team. Nwakali no dey dia.

Exactly all the 'smaller teams' on the continent have lost respect for the bigger teams on the African continent.

If you don't bring on match day you will be disgrace. CIV, Ghana, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco can testify.

This is truly a no gree for anybody tournament. grin

Pray good fortune hopefully follows with our best form on Friday.
E get one Morocco supporter wey dey cry after the match, he wear cap get gap teeth, laugh wan tear my belle, if I no control myself Dem for do me operation this morning 🤣. That Moroccan team get pride.

Ihenacho free kick against Argentina beat all the aforementioned free kick Nwakali scored.

Over busyness has made you to forget something important today. Today make it ten years Ihenacho has start playing for the super Eagles.
