Aliou Cisse, Senegal coach is set to Quit after 9 years as Head Coach of the Teranga Lions Of Senegal.
He won the Afcon for Senegal in 2021.

He's done a good job don't see him spending too long in the job market except he doesn't want to take up another appointment somewhere

The trouble with stats they don't tell you the quality of the assist and or the goal 🥅.

A player may have dribbled and skilled 6 players before passing the ball for someone to tap it in.

Michael Olise was taking players I and giving pin point accurate crosses both of them are poetry in motion. Eze goal from a precision ball from Olise simply Magical actually both goals.
All three goals scored by both Eze and Olise were superb goals. Most Especially Olise's goal🔥

Scored at U17 level.

Scored at U20 level.

Scored at U23 level.

Scored in Spain.

CAF even made a post captioned, "Bend it like Nwakali" on Twitter from the U23 Afcon in 2019. A freekick goal vs Zambia.

So Joebie isn't capping when he made that reference. There is no better FK specialist in this Super Eagles than Nwakali.

Question answered.

Now focus back on the team. Nwakali no dey dia.

The Nigeria vs Angola game better be bloody. I want to see heads collision, concussion, blood and sweat on that theater. I want a pure revenge for Barrister Samuel Okwaraji of the blessed memory.

This match will probably be the toughest game these set of SE would ever play. The Angolans have a great history of war, bravery and they are fearless. These are the real Bantus of Central Africa, cousins to the Congolese, Equatorial Guinea. As you can see ,they are fighters. The SE will see demons on that field and they better be ready. The Angolans are much tougher that the Congolese.

If I was the coach, I will bench Iwobi because this game will be too physical for the sissy boy.

Ndidi, Osimhen, Onyeka , Ekong ,Omerua are suited for the physicality of this match.

Let the Eagles soar!!

Shamelessly and scornfully he has been mocking and denying the gallant individuals representing his fatherland.

After making 9 saves(7saves in the box) and despite conceding two goals against Atalanta, Maduka Okoye makes sofascore’s serie-A team of the week.

Growth!
I reported much earlier Okoye's massive improvements. Some peeps on this thread were like "How many matches of recent times have you seen him feature to come about such a conclusion". I don't need to see any player on a match day to make an assessment.

I'm proud of this defense... And Aina is one the live wires of that wonderful setup. Look the way he kept his eyes locked on the ball his goalkeeper was holding in the air... Just in case.

Anticipation.

He never took chances. An Uzoho would have dropped that ball in this kind of situation.

Na dt “stingy” defense Dey win tournament…eagles are playing in a highly organized compatible game, only a team full of individual brilliance can defeat dis team…it will be very difficult for any side in dis tournament to defeat eagles except if we decide to do d unusual;wc happens once in a while..dt Cameroon game was a confirmation, our opponents shld just drag us to d penalties and hope Dey win via penalties.
And they won't succeed. Because they'll concede at least a goal. We've never failed to find the back of the net in all four games.

Our front three have proven to be a handful for all the defenses.

Exclusive: Brentford have rejected bids from Girona and Reims for midfielder Frank Onyeka. Both offers were on loan with options.

His great Nigeria performances drove interest but the Bees are inclined to keep him until the summer and then access things

The question naysayers should ask is

Is the Angolan backline solid enough?

The way some of you dey fear them is exact the way dem dey fear Osimhen and Lookman upfront. Not to talk of Aina. Our most obvious weaklink is nobody but Zaidu. If they focus on his wing and put up bodies there, it will still be to their detriment. The spaces Mabu and Gelson have seen so far, i doubt the Eagles defense will allow them see it. Not even on counter against us. We just need to be clinical. That's all.

Context na freekicks for Nigeria. How many Etebo, Iheanacho etc don score?

jieta:
Ihenacho free kick against Argentina beat all the aforementioned free kick Nwakali scored.

Over busyness has made you to forget something important today. Today make it ten years Ihenacho has start playing for the super Eagles.

Iheanacho's FK vs Argentina was good. But please don't quote me babbling about things you know little about. Did you see Nwakali's Freekick vs Zambia? Did you see his FK goal at the U17 Afcon in Niger? Did you see his FK goal vs Mexico at the U17 WC?

Do you recall his FK worldie in Spain?

You haven't seen most or possibly any of those and you quote me speaking ignorance. Be guided.

And what does Iheanacho's time in the SE has anything to do with a freekick discussion?? Sometimes, before you quote me, think about the reply and check its relevance. Don't just quote me for the sake of it or because you must say something.

Lol. Waiting isn't a luxury I have anymore.

Nwakali's dead ball specialty just fetched him another Assist vs Sporting Braga tonight. Game still on.

Imagine adding this weaponry to the Super Eagles again.

Anyway, less talk about a player not at the Afcon.

A Supersports anchor said something quite important.

He said that Cape Verde are yet to play a match during night time, meanwhile, the South Africans have already played quite a number of their matches at night and are already used to the high humidity that usually accompanies night time in Cote D'Voire.

He believes they're going to have an edge over Cape Verde because of this.

they are just dreaming, they have the physicality of the Cape Verde players to deal with, Do they think it's North Africans they are playing?

though won't mind if they win as they will have the usual psychological block they normally have if they meet us in the semi-finals

In addition, we've played stronger oppositions than the Angolans in this tournament, and you're right their defence is suspect, if the Namibians were a bit clinical they would have conceded two goals against them, I watched that game.
